The 5th Day Of My 5 Day Weekend

Hhmmm morning woke up, did some cleaning. While browsing thru XL-Shop's webpage, found out that something I ordered came out. Went to collect it in the afternoon and came back to do more cleaning.

Probably more stuff going on but I can't remember much already. XP

Now that I think of it, nothing much to blog about. But I just want to record down on how I spent my hoildays. Then can look back and see how I can improve it, besides going for trips. That pretty much wraps it up.

Random Posting

Felt like it's been forever since I've blogged. But it's actually, hmmm about a week?

Don't think I will be writing/complaining about work for a while. After all, it's just a job. It will never end and venting about it won't help either. Another reason I felt like getting more readers. I dunno, sometimes I felt like I need to have someone to read my blog and at times I really don't care. Heh. wtf am I talking about now. I've been blogging about what, myself, work, myself, anime, myself, movies, myself, toys, myself... ish.

Better go sleep. Wake up to blog some long overdue posts and then room cleaning again. Yeah, it's not finish yet and with my recent haul, don't think it would. Lalalalala~

A List of stuff to do:
1) Clean room
2) Blog 5 day weekend. Finish it.
3) Blog RO Carnival Haul. Hmmm got time to take pics?
4) Blog Haul of the Week. Hmmm got time to take pics?
5) Blog about Friday's dinner. Erm, maybe this one can wait. Still fresh in the mind and don't think can post much.
6) Bro still owes me money. Won't be able to get it until Wednesday.
7) Take Mickey out for walk. Didn't take him erm yesterday night. Bring him to piss on neighbours' cars.
8) Sleep early. This week would start work at 8:00am
9) Finish up packing that parcel and send it out on Monday!!!!!!

Okay, that should do it.

Hhhmmm, there's only 24 hours a day and I'm still sitting in front of the comp....

The Fourth Day Of My 5 Day Weekend

The day started off with this: There are idiots, and then there are idiots. Okay, let's leave it at that.

Nothing much really besides cleaning up and trying to improve my relationship with Mickey by taking him out for long walks. Funniest thing ever happened is the below conversation with a friend on MSN, with permission of my friend to post the conversation of course:

Me: erm how do u feel if u see a naked female action figure is on display?

Friend: errr... HENTAIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Me: ahahha ok

Me: wah my man-thing damn smelly

Friend: huh??? wat??

Me: action figure /swt just open only. the fumes cough cough

Friend: swt i tot WAT! =,=

Me: looked like swamp thing with an elephant trunk

Friend: swtswt never heard =.= sounds scary and misleading :P

Me: misleading?

Friend: yeah. /swt u man man think think without look at the figure. just read the words. lol

Me: ?? enlighten me lah

Friend: man-thing / swamp thing wif elephant trunk =.=

Me: the face lah

Friend: errmmm.... nothing la! >.<~

Me: oh hahahaha i think i know ady. man's thing hahahah

Friend: /ok =.="" pomg /pgosh

Me: hahhaa really displaying my man thing mah hahaa

Friend: disgusting name :P

Me: hahaha! then u chap tou lo hahahahah

Friend: /pomg /pgosh AaaaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Me: hahahaa brb. throw somethig first

Friend: dun salah throw

Then when I'm back, talked about putting this conversation on my blog and...

Me: now where to put my man-thing other than in my pants hahahaha

Friend: swtzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz extra trunk /heh

Me: hahaha

What's with the "/swt", "/heh", "/pomg", "/pgosh" and such? Those are our customised MSN smileys.

Can't believe I didn't get it at first and I am the king of innuendo jokes. Must be my bangang side again. -__-' Man-Thing.... Just to show I'm really referring to my action figure, here's some pics I took. Man-Thing from Marvel Legends series 8:

It's really a great fig. Detailed and highly articulated. Forgot how many articulation points, but it's plenty. It's also comes with a nice base for it to stand on to.

While having the conversation, I was laughing out loud like an idiot and my parents thought that I've finally lost it. so, anyone wants to come over and see my Man-thing? I"ll let you play with it. XD XD XD XD oh gosh! dying... XD

Just added a ShoutMix's Shoutbox at the side bar.

Anything that's not post related comments or you just want to leave your mark, please post there.

Anything that's post related, please continue posting at the "comments" section. Thank you.

SiteTracker: Just For Fun

Just for the heck of it, I've put up Site Tracker at the side bar. I'm curious as to how it works.

Curious about the traffic? Nah, I think the most traffic would be from myself. Hahaha! Dunno why, whenever IE is on, the first site besides Yahoo! would be my blog :). I can already see 2 page views are from myself. Heheh!

Hhhmmm, maybe I can try asking someone to put a link on their site or blog, and see how's traffic? Of course will put a link to the person's site, if they wish to have it done. Anyone willing to help? :)) Who knows, if I got bored with it, I might just take the tracker down. *thinks hard*.... 6-_- ?? a bit too risky..... -_-'... no... one... o_o!!

Experiment experiment, haven't finish with my room cleaning yet, get new things to do. @_@

The Third Day Of The 5 Day Weekend.

The 3rd day's more productive. Hahah, was gonna say "today" but now it's 8:00am, Monday morning. Monday's the 4th day already.

Anyway, woke up late again. I'm begining to see a trend. Home alone again, but there's breakfast on the table. A packet of Nasi Lemak. MmmMmmM~

What else again? Sit infront of the comp again. Hahahah! Been "hanging out" often at the XL-Shop.com forums these days. Aa noh, not just lurking, post some posts as well.

Didn't surf that long. Clean room straight ahead. So much junk. Dunno where to put, so headache. Can't everything put up the store room upstairs, worried it might melt. But have put alot up there already, and everything seems fine as there's an exhuast fan up there. Sometimes it's just myself. Worry this worry that for what... I don't think I should use my brain so much... heheh!

Recieved an SMS from Kar Cher, saying that she will be selling egg rolls. Can take order from her. RM 22 per tin. Home made probably? Told mom and mom said she bought a tin for RM 12. @#$@!!!?? RM 12 compare to RM 22... Even I failed math all the time I can still tell which one is cheaper. Anway, will just order one from Kar Cher just to show support.

Stopped cleaning a while, when HBO showed The Hulk. Well, didn't really sit down and watch the whole movie, just near the end where Hulk busts out of the underground base and started to leap around. Only that part is worth watching again.

Stopped at around 11:00pm to watch The Apprentice. And also felt it's enough cleaning for today. Looked at my room... doens't look much different than before cleaning.... taskete @_@... it thought I have been moving things, carrying things up and down one?

Watched a bit only. Fell asleep on Mom and Dad's bed. Bro watching football at the living room, so have to watch in parent's room. Mom woke me up when the show's over. The women lost again.

Went back to my own room to sleep. Woke up at around 4:30am. Felt hot, forgot to turn on the air cond earlier. Went to bath and came to blog.

So fast it's the fourth day already. Felt boh siok lah. Sigh. Anyway, today should be more fun since everyone has to wake up early to join the rat race and I am sitting here, blogging.. OOOOHOHOHOHO!! ^O^

Oklah, want to go sleep a while, then wake up for cleaning again.

The Second Day Of My 5 Day Weekend

Woke up late. Of course woke up late, slept really late again.

After the morning rituals, it's sitting in front of the PC again. Almost forgot to tell Melody that I won't be able to make it to the Karaoke session today. Messaged her by SMS. Hmmm no reply. Considered as FFK? I didn't promise anything. Earlier told her I can't confirmed yet.

Played a bit of Ragnarok Online. Hmm almost time to go out. Get prepared. Left house at 1:00pm. First I thought we were gonna drive to Kelana or Asia Jaya LRT station, park our car there and take LRT to KLCC. The talk/presentation is at UOA, the one near KLCC. Dad actually wants to drive all the way down there. What about the traffic? Surprisingly, the traffic's quite smooth. Only place's jam is the err i forgot where >_< the round-a-bout that's always jam and infront of Sungai Wang. The usual places lah.

Reached there. The talk thingy is suppose to be 2:30pm. We reached at 1:50pm. We were told the talk is 2:00pm. Kena tipu. But anyway, at least we will be able to get seats. Went to the washroom. No one inside except myself. Felt a bit eerie, but not creepy.

Came out of the wash room, can go into the presentation hall already. Parents introduced me to some "uncle" and "aunty" for me. Not exactly what I had in mind -_-'. They introduced me as "My smallest son.". Errr, shouldn't it be youngest?? -_-"

Won't bore you with the presentation. I was bored with it myself. The guy told some jokes I"ve already heard. Everyone found it very funny. The uncle sitting beside me keep laughing damn loud and spraying saliva. Urgh.

After the presentation, we walked to KLCC. For what? Go there walk walk a while lah. Came all the way down just to warm chairs with our butts? On the way there, saw them still building the Exhibition Centre (or whatever they call it). It's almost done. Looks quite cool. Should have brought my camera and take some pics.

Reached KLCC and I lost my parents. Called them on the mobile and no one answered. Probably still on silent mode and they haven't switch it back to normal -__-. Waited a while at the entrance, where we came in which is the one at the lake garden. Hhmm... still no sign of them. Better go check out my stuff first then look for them, or call them.

Went to Kinokuniya. Crap, latest issue of Newtype Magazine's sold out. Or not out yet? Saw it at the MidValley Megamall Jusco wo. Went to the top floor of Kinokuniya to check and see if Vol. 8 of Midori no Hibi is out. Nope. Nada.

After quickly checking out my stuff, tried calling parents. No answers, or there's no ringing tone at all. A few types Dad picked up and couldn't hear me. Wanted to message them, then received an SMS from Dad. "Hi Desmond, we would like to..." What the hell is this?!?! Scrolled all the way down to the end of the message "... We are at Cinnabon." -__-# Can't type a fresh new message? Luckily I didn't just delete it off.

Went to meet up with them. Hhmm they've finished eating. Asked them where were they all the while... walk so slow, never call me when I walked too fast. They told me that they were here all the while. Aiyer, was worried that they might be looking for me, so was looking for them after checking out my stuff. Sigh. Sitting here eating.

Mom asked me if I want to eat. Nah, don't want lah. It's late and almost time for dinner. So we went back.

Reached home. So tired. After dinner and bath, clean up room a bit. A bit only. Felt so tired. Went to sleep.

Woke up later in the night, or should I say in the morning. Couldn't sleep back. Nothing to do so online *rolls eyes*. Found this site http://www.tvnihon.com/, with some Kamen Rider and other tokusatsu shows torrents. Sigh, mostly in batches, like episode 1 - 3 for a file. That would cost me 500+MB space which I can't afford. Just manage to cleaned up hard disk...

Saw at the torrent list, that they previous had Kamen Rider 555 (Faiz) OST for download!!! Though I bought the song collection CD (Taiwan version), with all the opening. ending/fighting themes and songs that are sung by the actors and actress, this one has the BGM!! Not sure about the file size but I bet it's big. Saw From The Sea is online. Message her if I find the torrent, asked her if she could download for me and burned it on the CD. "No problem!" Shey said. YES!!!

But I couldn't find the link.... they probably had taken it down :((. Recommended From The Sea to watch Kamen Rider Ryuuki, since she likes to watch shows with full of leng jais. She said she did watch a few episodes on NTV7, but couldn't understand what's going on. Of course, since they have taken the drama series approach, have to watch from the start to fully understand. Then we talked about other Kamen Riders. She liked Kamen Rider Black RX as it's the only one she's seen XD.

In the end, can't find the link. Felt the whole day's wasted. Oh well, went back to sleep.

The First Day Of My 5 Days Weekend

AAAAAA!!! gOD DAMN IT i JUST TYPE THIS LONG POST ABOUT TODAY AND THERE WAS AN "INTERNAL ERROR" WHEN POSTING AND NOW I HAVE TO TYPE THE WHOLE POST ALL OVER AGAIN!!! #$%#$%!!!!

Okay, I'm cool, I'm cool...

Didn't do much on the first day. Only cleaned up abit.

Slept on the eve at around 4:15am Friday morning. Wokeup at 12:30pm and found no one at home.

Surf the Net a bit and it struck me. Why do I need RadioBlog to have music on my blog. I can just use html to do it and it would still work. Downside is that I can't have a several songs a la jukebox. So, tried to recall how to do it. My html is pretty rusty. Not that I am good at it, it's just that it's mostly self learned.

Couldn't recall how to do it. Stucked. Then it just occured to me, why not just google it? Doink! Did a google search, found it and it was even better. It has a console so that I can turn off the music or anybody who thinks its annoying. Yay!

Tried to put it in my layout. Mucked it up and had to restore it with my backup -__-". Finally after restoring it, everything is back to normal. Music is playing. Yay!

Found a packet of fried noodles mixed with bee hoon on the table. Apparently suppose to be my breakfast. Gobbled it and got back to the comp. Decided to put up Believe. Have been wanted to put it up for quite some time. But now I have another song I want to put up. The next update would be pretty soon.

Parents came back with bro. They went to Carrefour to do grocery shopping. No wonder took them so long. Helped them to take out stuff from car. Now only noticed friend sent a SMS to me on my mobile. It's a very cute message wishing me to have a happy holiday. Replied her :D.

Decided to do some cleaning up and just listen to some music. The reason why there's no pics of my action figure/toy collection yet is because my room is really messed up. Not presentable lah. So no pic taking :P. Maybe after this 5 days weekend, then take pics.

Mom informed me that there's some kind of talk/presentation from their MLM thingy tomorrow that I might be interested. What?? Last minute only inform?? Melody invited me to go karaoke with the gang. Who's going? Kar Cher, Grace, NCM and Chicken Shit. Hhmmm most probably go for karaoke.

To tell the truth, I haven't been to a karaoke joint before. Haha, don't laugh lah! I guess it's just not my thing. And, they don't have anime opening or ending songs. Can't show off my singing skills with "Let's go Gekkiganger 3~". :P

Stopped cleaning for a while and did some stupid quiz. There were even worst ones that I did not post.

Got tired of cleaning and took nap. Mom woke me up to take dinner. Chicken rice! Yay! Another of my mom's specialty. Actually, my mom's pretty good cook. Home cooking is her specialty. I hope I can find a wife who's a good cook XP. What's that saying again? "The way to a man's hear is through his stomach."?

After dinner, decided to play Ragnarok Online (RO) a bit. It's been a while since I've level up. Still stuck at Acolyte. Takes forever to turn to Monk. But I also want to do something productive. Decided to listen to Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki at the same time. Borrowed the CD from my colleague. Colleague knew that I don't read much books :P so she lent the CD version to me.

Rich Dad Poor Dad sure is insightful. Maybe I will get the book. What's it about? Next time only blog about it. Or, if you are interested, you can get/borrow the book. Or, I can send the pdf summarised version that my colleague sent to me to anyone who's interested. ;D

RO's bgm is turned off and just let the CD rip! Mom asked me who am I listening to. "Robert Kiyosaki", I replied. "Oh!" She exclaimed. Eh, thought she never heard of Robert Kiyosaki...

Decided to go to the talk thingy tomorrow. Maybe it might be usefull to achieving my dream or maybe it's a big waste of time... anyhow can meet more people. Enlarging my circle of friends is my new year's resolution what.

All in all, the first day didn't totally go to waste :). Ohh, and I have a Gmail account already! Thanx, ML! ;D

-=Which Kamen Rider are you?=- RYUKI

krryuki
You are Ryuki! Charming, happy-go-lucky, tenacious,
soft-hearted, gentle and trusting are just a
few of the words that describe you. Your quest
to turn your ideals into reality make many
consider you to be daft and idiotic but hey,
you try and people love you anyway. You are too
genki for words and are the epitome of the
unlikely hero. You also bear a strong
resemblance to Tidus, the hero of FFX, both in
appearance and personality. Women probably
throw themselves at your feet. It's good to be
bish, no?

-=Which Kamen Rider are you?=- RYUKI
brought to you by Quizilla

AHAHAHAA XD!! Just as I suspected! But since when women throw themselves at Shinji's and my feet.... ??? -_-'

Prone to getting colds. Loves to dress up. Easily bored. Fussy. Seldom shows emotions. Takes time to recover when hurt. Brand conscious. Executive. Stubborn.

"Brand conscious"?? To be fair, I don't really care about brand names except for the quality the brand brings.

Take the quiz: "What vampire would you be?"

Forgotten Vampire of The Night
You are such a good person! You always followed the rules. Yet even with your sweet dispostion you are here in your sell. You've become greater then humans, but still feel as one and will do all in your power not to become

SOMEONE PLEASE STAKE ME!!!!!

Blog Music: Back To Basics

Hear anything? It's playing Believe - the second opening song of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam Seed.

To hell with Radio Blog and it's php. I'm just using a simple html code to play the mp3 file. Sorry if it's of low quality. My comp can't support most of the software to encode any higher quality mp3 T__T. The console's at the side bar. If you find it annoying, just turn it off.

Sometimes the best way is using the simpliest way. Just proves life is complicated because I'm the one who makes it that way. Back to basics!

Dream Of Being Alone

Place is the same. Just no one around. Nobody. Zilch.

Woke up and found no one at home. Cats are still here, and Mickey still barking at me. -__-'

I'm sure everyone went out to dunno do what. But I still need to try to analyze and find out what this will lead to.

Hhhmmm, haven't turn on MSN and see if anyone's online....

Friendster Profile View

"Your profile has been viewed 5 times since 01/14/05"

Huh, who the hell would want to view my profile??

Go Down KL? With You??

Bro asked me whether tomorrow want to go down KL with him or not.

Hhmmmm don't think I want to. Go KL with him he sure rush me around. I still prefer going down myself or with someone who has the same pace as I do. And, I can always do last minute decision to suddenly want to go to anywhere. I feel like going KLCC? Sure! Why not? After that, let's go SM Shopping Arcade? Hell, yeah!

With him won't be able to do that. "Ka meh lah! (Hurry up!)". Idiot.

Tonight Is The Eve Of My 5 Day Weekendo Baybee!!!

BOOYAH!! You heard that right!

Tomorrow's Hari Raya Haji: Pulbic Holiday. Then it's Saturday and Sunday. Thaipusam's on Tuesday, public holiday for our group.

Best of all I took leave on Monday!!! That's 5 days! Count em! 1,2,3,....

Am I going anywhere? Nah, though this morning when on the way to work, on the shuttle bus, I have this sudden urge to call KLIA and then make another call to some Singaporean hotel or wherever in that country that can provide me accomodation.

The reason I took leave on Monday is to do my spring cleaning. Chinese New Year is just around the corner. Need to do some cleaning, display new toys or something.

But of course will save one day for LEPAKING!!! GO HERE GO THERE! MAYBE TWO DAYS THEN!!!! MUAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH XD !!!!!

Better make good use of it. Make everyday count! I deserve it!!!

Final Vent

AAaahh! Last night just finished watching Kamen Rider Ryuuki. What a dramatic ending. Dunno why everyone complained about the ending when it was aired in Japan. Read somewhere that viewers called em up to scold. I didn't find that big a deal. Probably because I've already spoiled the ending for myself?

Actually, I've bought the DVD box set since 9th of Jan 2005. Have been watching it since then till last night. Yeah, I know NTV7 is showing it on Sunday morning. But it's dubbed in Bahasa Malaysia and they sucked. Dubs always sucks no matter in what language. Though there were some anime series with pretty good dubbing in English, ie: Cowboy Bebop, Ghost In The Shell the Movie etc.

Quite possibly the best storyline for a Kamen Rider (KR) series. Though the characters have not much "growth" in terms of their err character. Best character development still goes to KR Agito and KR 555 (Faiz). Ryuuki is the first KR series that made Japanese housewives who are in their 30s to sit down with their kids to watch. Probably due to all the good looking Riders in Ryuuki XD. Should have asked Mom to watch since she saw Faiz with me. Ever since KR Kuuga, KR series have taken the approach of Japanese drama series, with lots of twists and characterisations.

Thinking of watching Faiz and Agito all over again and after that... Ryuuki. Thinking of setting up another blog with episode summaries and screen captures. Hhhm, no DVD-Rom drive, how to do screen caps? I guess screen caps will have to wait until I got a new comp.

Maybe I"ll name the blog: "Henshin!".

Happy Birthday Fishiee!!!

:))

Yesterday: 19/01/2005

Happy happy~ found some very clear pics of Ragnarok Carnival 2005 at the XL-Shop.com forum. Happy Happy~ Dunno why I'm happy. From the Sea said probably because of my hormones. *rolls eyes* Happy happy~

So everything was fine and dandy until I got back home for dinner. Opened up the rice cooker and found a lizard lounging inside. On the rice. There goes dinner. Tried to shoo it off but it just sat there, and only moved a bit. hhmm, ate so full till it can't move? Dunno who didn't cover it properly. Best guess is either the "old lady" or my brother.

Dinner: instant noodles and dishes. Sigh~

Ragnarok Online Carnival 2005 Part 4

I'm getting tired of this story....

aaah, with Fish and Chris... hhhmmm somehow when I type both of their names together, I keep thinking of Fish and Chips. Yummy~

With Fish and Chris gone, I'm alone again. Went to the place where they are showing the Ragnarok: The Animation. They were showing this episode where they went into the Geffen dungeon and fought some Poison Spores and Argos. The voice for the Girl Merchant is soooo squeaky. Reminds me of Sailormoon's original Japanese voice. The Poring reminds me of a Pokemon. It only knows how to say it's own name "Poring Poring Poorrring~". Like Pikachu's "Pika~ Pika~" or "Piiikachu~".

Dunno, maybe too tired. Didn't have the mood to stay and watch for long. Went to walk around again. Went to the main stage. If not mistaken the chairman of Malaysia's Gameflier is on stage giving some speech. Then it was Taiwanese Chairman's turn. They both look soooooo typically chinaman business man look. And people are wondering why are there so many bots? Some books you can just judge them from their cover.

Walk around again. Went to Prontera booth again. Weird. They are still displaying the Poring and pillow. I thought it's out of stock? They've also put out a white board showing which items are still in stock. Poring pillow's number is no.2.... Huuuhhh? Still got? I asked the guy there and he says yup, still got. I then hurried to the voucher counter and came back. Told the guy, a different guy this time, that I want two Poring Pillow.

"Sorry ah, no more stock. Maybe you want the Angeling Pillow?", he told me. Whaaaaaaaatttt??!!!!! I checked the white board again. No. 2 is still not struck off or erased yet. *SLAMS TABLE* "Then why the hell that it's still on the whiteboard? Do you know I purposely go and get the vouchers to buy it? You want me to play your fricking games some more??!". Really lost my cool there. Though I have not shout at the guy yet. Slamming the table is a first time though.

The guy went to check the whiteboard, "Ohh sorry sorry! I thought it was that side one.". Sheesh! He went to the back to get the Porings for me. Yahooo! Sent an SMS to From The Sea to tell her that there's no issue with the Porings already.

6:30 pm. The emcees went up the main stage and prepared us to greet Elva. She's going to be here and 7:00 pm. They prepared us to yell "Elva, wo men huan ying nii~ (Elva, we welcome you.)" at the top of our lungs. Three times they made us do it. They then went back stage to rest for a while. Supposely a 2 minute rest. 2 minutes became 30 minutes. 30 minutes became 1 hour. Elva the super star. Some people already got impatient and started to scream her name. Finally the lights came on again! Elva??! No... the emcees told us not to get too excited and it's just the opening dance act by their dancers.

After the dance, the emcees tricked everyone again.. instead of Elva coming out, it's them. After some babbling by them, finally Elva came out!!!

Elva

The audience went crazy!! She looked so much prettier than the pics she took for Ragnarok Online. Those pics sure make look very Ah Lian.

The emcees interview her first. Asking her what's going on with her career right now. She told us that a new album will be out soon. Is there any chance of her having a concert here in Malaysia? She asks us if she would have a concert here, would we go? Everyone answered "YES!". I just kept quiet lah. :P

Here's some pics:

She's sooo fair. Add make up some more. Spotlight shined on her so in the pics she look like a ghost. I don't think it's just my cam. Over heard someone with a really cun camera complained that the she turn up "white white one" in their cam as well.

Speaking of taking pics.. Wow, arms are really sore. Have to raise the camera high above everyone's head, keep it really steady and snap away. Was worried that I might drop and break it. *Whew*! Not only cameras, handphones were raised to take her pics.

After the emcees interviewed her. She started to sing Wo Ai Ni Na Mer Duo.

More pics:

The song's quite nice. After Wo Ai Ni Na Mer Duo, they invited people who are celebrating their birthday on that day to go on stage to let Elva celebrate with them. There's a cake, with a drawing of a Poring on it. No candles though. Elva sang Happy Birthday to them. I caught her lip-synching. What, she can't remember the lyrics XD ?? Each of the birthday boys and girls get a goodie bag gift from Elva.

After the birthday celebration, she gave out prizes to the winners of the RO Talent Quest competition. The magician won the first place. The chairman of Gameflier came out again. Started asking perasan and stupid questions like "Do you love this party?", "Do you love Ragnarok?", "Do you love Gameflier?" (I was tempted to shout "Ga*Flier sucks!"), "Do you love Elva?", "Do you love me?", "Am I handsome?", "Am I cool?". Someone shouted "Sau pei lah lei!". He came out to draw the lucky draw prizes. Prizes ranges from virtual items for your RO character *rolls eyes*, RO CPU, DVD players to the RO Car.

Next, Elva picked 10 people from the audience to go up on stage to play "rock-cloth-scissors" with her. Huh? "Cloth"? Yeah, the Chinese version. She picked those who had her albums raised. Makes sense. The rule is this, if you win, you get to draw a prize (figurine, T-shirt, etc). If you lose, you only get to shake hands with Elva. She shook hands with all of the players anyway. Some even got a hug. The players took this chance to take a photo with her and get her album signed. She's quite patient with this. Well, have to.

Funny thing is there's this Uncle, played the Malaysia version "1,2,zoom". You know, the one with "rock-water-bird". Elva was puzzled when she saw him made the "bird" shape. She teach the Uncle how to make a "rock" with the fist XD. There was this other thoughtful player, he offered everyone facial tissue to wipe their err sweat on their faces. The emcees took it and thanked him. Elva did not. ARE YOU NUTS??? You want her to wipe off her make up and made her pork marks visible?? XP

Finally, she's singing her second and last song. This one's not bad as well. An upbeat song, which it's name I can't remember.

This time when she sings, she actually got closer to the audience and shook their hands. Once she was almost pulled down from the stage.

I really don't like girl dancers who danced too aggressively. Like some kind of chicken looking for a fight. One of the dancers danced like that x_x. After this song, the emcees thanked us for coming. No encore performance from Elva. No one shouted for an encore anyway. Everyone just walked off. Kids these days...

But the carnival's not over. Booths are still opened for business, especially the games. Went to play this RO Pinball. Basically they constructed some kind of wooden pinball table. You need to use this wooden spatula of some sort to pust the ball up, and if it drops to a slot that has a Poring sticker on it, you win a prize. Tried this. RM 1 for 5 balls. The first two tries did not landed on the Poring slot. The 3rd one did though!! Hmmm the 4th try I just use the same strenght to push up the ball and it landed again! So's 5th!!! YES!! Finally something I'm good at!! What I won? 3 sets of RO pencils. 3 pencils in a pack. It's actually quite cute. It has like cute monster faces or items on it. I gave one set to the small boy who was watching me play. He didn't have money to play and he looked like he really wanted the pencils.

After that, went to the RO Ring Toss booth. AAAAAH!!! They have the RO in-game character sprite figurines!! RM 1 voucher for 5 ring toss. You need to throw this rattan ring to land on a standing bolwing pin. Behind the bowling pin, they would display the prize there. Besides figurines, they have thermos, pencil box and a last Angeling Pillow. Tried my last two RM 1 vouchers on the Swordsman (female version) figurine but none of them landed on a stnading bowling pin. What was that saying again? "Close is only counted in horse shoes and hand grenades."

The girls were desperately wanting the Angeling Pillow. They basically used up all the vouchers and got like 12452553412131245346 rings to try. Eventually the Angeling Pillow was won by a guy. The place suddenly felt very cold...cold stares were on him. Someone is going to die.... :P. Didn't win any figs. Used up all the vouchers. Ahh, nothing much already. So went home.

Got home and asked friend to send me some Elva's songs/mp3 :). I found her songs not bad and thinking of giving her albums a try.

That wraps up the RO Carnival 2005 event post. Whoah, 4 parts. Hey wait a minute, there's still the Epilogue! RO Carnival 2005 Haul post! Stay tune! ;)

Ragnarok Online Carnival 2005 Part 3

Aa no... I guess you know you're old when the memory starts to go.

After the dice game, we went to the next booth for a card matching game. Basically 4 cards are placed on the table. The err person there will shuffle it, open one, and he/she will shuffle the other 4 cards on his/her hand. You tell them the no.1 to 4 and they will open it. If it matches the one on the table. You win a price.

AAaasyoooo~ another gambling type game and you know what happened when I played *rolls eyes*. Fish won a few times. I think the only gambling game that I'm good at is Poker. It's not about the probability but it's about how well you bluff. ;)

After the game, we've realised that Chris has not came to meet up with us yet. Fish called him and asked him where he was, He says he's near the stage. Oh we are near the main stage as well... should be able to find him. We couldn't. Fish told him to raise his hand. Eh, they are having the RO Charity Auction right now. The money goes to the tsunami victims. Hhmm really? For such a big event, I doubt the full amount of the money will go to them. I'm sure a small portion will go to the cost of marketting. That's how it works. So don't donate anything to a so called charity who advertises everywhere.

Haahah! You know what I've just realised? Fish told Chris to raise his hand so that we can find him, and people bid by raising their hand XD !!! This is going to be interesting. But we couldn't find him... at that moment, there's no bidding going on, only description of the items. Wasn't paying attention. Was concentrating on finding Chris. Eventually, we realised that he is at the second stage x_x !! So we went there and found him.

Noticed at the end of the exhibition hall, they've displayed the RO Fan Art Contest from last year.

Fan Art

Went to check it out. It's the same ones that were in their homepage. Noticed one guy drew the Knight character looked very similiar to Kira Yamato. Not only in terms of looks, but the pose as well. Hahahah! Copy cat! Are they good? Errr... no.

I turned around and lost Chris and Fish. Nevermind. I'm sure they're around. It's not like I'm afraid to be alone. Anyway, the second stage right now is having RO Cosplaying Contest.

Cosplayers! Same buggers.

As you can see, they are the Cosplayers from the Comic Fiesta event. I bet they went for the CosMas as well. Since I've seen them before, I didn't stay. Walked around and went to gawk at

RO Huntress

again. Hahaha just kidding!! Nah, just walk around, called Fish, no answer, played some games, called Fish, no answer...

Tired. Couldn't find them. Walked another round and still couldn't find them. Went near the entrance and sat down, leaning againts the wall. Legs are sore. How long have I been standing and walking around? It's around 3:00 pm right now. Arrange the stuff I bought, don't want any of em to get squash or out of shape. When all are arranges, I just sat there resting... observing.... people watching. After getting my second wind, stood up and walk around again.

Went to the second stage. Some sort of Q&A contest is going on. Eventually the emcee threw some stuff for the crowd. I manage to picked up a mini Baphomet blow-up ballon.

Wandering around aimlessly. Oohh the main stage has clowns performing. Not interested. 5:00 pm. Tried calling Fish again. Hey, she answered her mobile. They are at the food court eating. Went to meet up with them. Compared stuffs that we bought. Chris manage to get his Angeling pillow. Hmm thought he's suppose to get a refund? Dunno where they dug out the Angeling pillow for him. Fish complained that she prefered the Angeling Pillow. We also compares pics that we have took in our Digicam. Fish borrowed her house mate's digicam. AAAAAA!!! They have a clear pic of the Huntress! I was worried mine won't come out nice. And now look at it. It sure didn't came out nice. Bugger.

I ordered Crispy Yee Mee. Nothing special, but I'm hungry. Wolf it down anyway. After finishing my food we went back in. Bump into Elaine at the entrance. Who's she? Chris' best friend. They talked. I ask Chris if this is Elaine, he said yeah, I introed myself. We actually met before online.

Went in. What else to do? Walk around and played games again. Tried the Monster Card matching game and won myself a really cute looking RO folder. Then followed Fish around looking for cosplayers contestants to take pic with.

We are near the second stage. This time its the RO Talent Quest. Some fat chick is on stage singing out of tune. Probably nervous. The interesting one is this guy who cosplayed as the RO Magician and performed magic tricks to the bgm of Prontera. The tricks he did were pretty simple but very convincing. Probably learned from that show "Breaking the Magician's Code: Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed" :)

Magic Show
Ne! Pretty good costume huh? From the pic, you can tell he really made someone scratch their head and went "How he did that?". Watch more TV lah! Who says you can't learn anything from the idiot box?? :P

Fish is watching some clown making animal ballons and Chris is talking to his friends at the Nan Yang Siang Pau booth. They are trying to convince him to buy more newspapers. Hahaha!!

Fish has this plan. She says why not we take off censoredcensoredcensoredcensored? I thought she was kidding, and boy was I wrong. When we censoredcensoredcensoredcensored I still thought she was kidding. She asked me where's the exit. Hhhmm, her sense of direction that bad? I pointed the direction to her. She censoredcensoredcensoredcensored made a run for the exit "Jau aaaahhhh!! (Runnnn ahhhh!!)". o_O'. Chris ran with her.

Now what the hell was all that about? Interested to know? Just ask me on MSN or Yahoo messenger to find out. No lah, they didn't streak.

Uuhhh... ohkay. Bye. Guess they didn't know I am staying to see Elva. To be continue.

Ragnarok Online Carnival 2005 Part 2

Back from shower. Now where was I?

Ahh, so when I found out there weren't enough to buy another Poring pillow ("ordered" 1 Poring and 1 Angeling pillow for From The Sea), went back to buy some more. But before I go, I went to check out how much the in-game type figurines for Acolyte (male version), Acolyte (female version) and Swordman figurines costs. So, I won't get the wrong amount of vouchers again.

Came back to cashier booth after purchasing the vouchers. While lining up again, bump into Cheong Mou. Passed him Kenji's used Monthly Accessed cards. Cheong Mou got an Angeling pillow!! He got it for being the first 100 visitors. Eh, so lucky!! And also can wake up so early to come. :P

When it's almost my turn again, the people behind the cashier table announced that: "For those who are collecting their stuff, please stay. For those who want to order, please come back an hour for us to sort out which one got stock or not! Most of it no stock already.". I waited in line anyway to check if there's anymore Poring Pillow.

"Nope! No more, so are the figurines that you want. Sorry." FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRGGGGGHHH!!!! I went to buy more vouchers for nothing!!! I asked if I can get a refund, they say "Oh, sorry sir, perhaps you can go and play some games...", "Look pal, I have RM 50 here and I don't want to play 50 times of games!", I interrupted. "ohh ok, maybe you can go to the other side to buy some other merchandise?", he replied. Hhmmm so, over there are not sold out huh? Okay lah, just go and check it out. Fargh. And still cannot get the stuff I ordered yet.

So, while on the way to The City of the Dead booth, I bump into Fish and Chris!! "Anyone know me?? NOOOOOOO!!!", I imitated. "Kawaaaaa!" she squeaked. After telling them the whole story about buying stuff issue. I then continued to go to The City of the Dead booth. Meet up with them later.

Hhmm the items here are not as hot as the Prontera booth. Que's not as long. Have some interesting stuff as well, like umbrellas, sandals, some lousy looking t-shirts, magnets, handphone accessory, keychains, necklace, etc. Lined up and ordered. After getting the ordering number, went back to meet up with Fish and Chris.

Can't find them at first. Called Fish but she didn't answer. Probably too noisy to hear any ringing from the mobile. Eventually I manage to get her on the mobile and met up with them at one place.

They were about to collect their stuff over here at Prontera booth. I passed my order number paper to Fish to ask her to collect the stuff for me as I want to go back and try collecting my stuff. I'm worried that if I came back later they would say "Sorry sir, since you didn't come and collect, we gave it to someone else. Maybe you can go play games...". Stick the voucher where the sun don't shine lah.

We were near the main stage and there's some kind of dance going on up there and so I took a couple of pics:

RO Carnival Dance

RO Carnival Dance Again

Err didn't stayed long to watch though. Off I go again!

Bump into Jojo and her room mate. Talked to her for awhile and went our separate ways. Told her that Fish is here as well.

Aaa! Happy! Manage to get some stuff at The City of the Dead booth. Ooh did I mentioned that they have some giant styrofoam Jack-O-Lanterns as props here? What's a Jack-O-Lantern? Basically a pumpkin carved with a face. Usually have it on Halloween? Nice. I"ll post my RO Carnival Haul on a separate post with pics lah, as I came back to get more stuff later in the day. Put everything in one post later.

Anyway, went back to meet up with Fish and Chris again. Fish is checking out her stuff. She manage to collect my stuff as well. Wait! Something's wrong, there's only an Angeling Pillow! What happened to the Poring Pillow?? Arggh! Fish told me that Chris' Poring Pillow is out of stock and he's getting a refund.

They replaced the Poring Pillow with an Angeling stuff toy (with fragrance). Hmmm... if I am the one who's doing the collecting, I would let them have a piece of my mind. You can't simply replace an item even though they are at the same price. Can't blame Fish as she didn't know what I orderd. Aah, nevermind lah, the Angeling stuff toy was what I wanted as a second choice. Hmmm.. called From The Sea and told her about the whole story and asks her which one she wants. Hhmm decided that when I get back home, will take pics and send to her to see so she can decide which one she wants.

Aiyooo, so damn frigging frustrating. Is it so hard to manage the stocks? The whole process can be just simplified to just go to the cashier, tell them what you want, they go and get it and you pay for it. The customer would just have to wait for them to fetch it. That's all. Whoever's responsible should be (in my best Donald Trump voice): "You're fired!". Idiots.

You know what Fish won when on stage? She got an in-game Priest character figurine. The book/bible fell off though. Looked like it broke off. Hmm can just put back and glued it back on and won't be noticeble. Kinda glad I didn't get the figurines since they break so easily.

While checking out what she got, Cheong Mou came to us. We were sitting at one corner. He told me that the used Monthly Access card can only change Game Vouchers. Eh, what happened to the drawing prizes? Oh damn, Kenji's gonna be very disappointed. Cheong Mou gave us some of the Game Vouchers. Reluctant to take it at first as I still have a number of the vouchers left. He said there are alot and he played a lot and needs help to clear off the game vouchers. Fish noticed he have some RO badge pins on his shirt and asked how he got them. He said he played a game and won them. Played for quite a while and only won a few. He brought us to the booth and we played. Heh, the girl at the booth is quite cute.

What's the game? Basically they have three big styrofoam "dice"s. Each side has a picture of a character from RO. You have to roll em, and if you get two dices with the same character pic, you win a badge. 1 game voucher/RM 1 voucher gets two chances. You know what? I sucked at these gambling type games. I played for quite a few times and I didn't win any. Bugger. Only when later in the day came back to play won two badges, also after a few times. Fish won like.. hmm I think a set of the badges if not mistaken. All 8 of em. I guess I can only gamble with my life. Even though I lost terribly, the chick gave me a pencil instead of a pin badge. Yay! Though it's the same pencil that I've got earlier, but still Yay! Maybe she thinks I'm leng jai kua. Yahlah, being leng jai has its advantages. Hahahah! Just kidding ;P! I'm sure she gave one to whoever who have lost.

Getting late. Wow, I think this RO Carnival 2005 event will have alot of parts. As much as I want to stay up to finish the whole story, alas I have to work tomorrow. To be continue. Ja ne!

Ragnarok Online Carnival 2005 Part 1

Reached there at about 11:30+ pm. Called Kenji that I'm confirmed going and I would help him do the lucky draw if I didn't see Cheong Mou. Kenji passed me 13 pieces of the used RO Monthly Access card on Friday. If I see Cheong Mou, I can just pass the cards to him and he will do it for Kenji. According to them, with the monthly access cards, we are suppose to be able to draw prizes.

Here's the Ragnarok Online (RO) Carnival 2005 entrance:

Entrance

The pic was taken before I left though. That's why it's dark.

At the entrance, they are playing some Elva's song and have promo speeches like "Come join the fun at Ro Carnival blah blah blah...". Went in and walked around to check out the booths. Right at the entrance, there lies the RO Car. Yeah, it's a Kancil:

Front View

Side View B

Cosplayers with really good costumes, obviously from Gameflier themselves, were standing around the car.

Sage (female ver)
Sage (female version)

Wiz and Monk (female ver)
From left to right: Wizard and Monk (female version)

RO Huntress
The Huntress aka Da Bomb of the day. lol. Yeah pathetic pic. Not only did I not zoom in close enough, she's so fair and the spotlight is directly shining on her. Siiiiggghhh!! Obviously there are other characters but I didn't manage to take all of em.

Also saw the "dogs" here ;). Long story. :P. Sent an SMS to From The Sea to tell her that. She told me that Fish and Jojo will be going. Didn't see them.

Flyers were given out. A Map and activites for the carnival are in it. There's also a coupon for redeeming some kind of souvenior and another for lucky draw. Went to Service Counter 2 to get the souvenior. It's a pencil. It has the words "Level Up" on it.

On the left, they are showing RO The Animation. Showed a few episodes.

Ragnarok the Animation

Apprently there are two stages. One's where the main performances would be, the second one a smaller one has some performances (talent quest) as well and some Q&A games for the crowd to win prizes.

The main stage:
The Main Stage

There were lots of booths. Some were interestingly named. Like the one where the merchandise are sold, Prontera (the capital city of MidGard) and The City of the Dead. Some were obviously named after the game itself like RO Ring Toss.

The booths:
Booths

More Booths

As you can see from the pics, the place is jam packed. Mostly kids and teenagers wandering around. So proceeded to check out the prices of the merchandises. Found out the figurines are actually statues and they are not cheap.

Called From The Sea and told her about the prices. She's back at her hometown right now and couldn't come to buy the Poring and Angeling pillows. She confirmed she wanted both so I went to buy the vouchers to purchase the merchandises. You see, they have this brilliant idea not to take cash on the spot. You have to buy the vouchers to buy any sort of merchandises and to play the games. Sounds like a good plan and nothing will go wrong right? *rolls eyes*

Oh and you can't just go to the cashier booth to just straight out buy the stuff. You have to go to where they display it and take orders. Basically some people just stand around there with pen and papers, asks you what you want, you tell them the thing you want, they write down the designated number; gives it to you and you have to bring it to the cashier booth. Wow, lots of steps. It didn't just end there. You have to pay them, and then they give you a number, let's say "A00378" and asks you to come back after 15 - 30 minutes to collect your stuff.

So, while I was lining up to pay them, and juggling the coupons, they have this dance with the dancers dressed in RO characters dancing to the background music (bgm) of Level 4 Payon Dungeon. Pretty cool. Didn't manage to take pics of it though.

After the dance, heard the emcees brought some people from the crowd to play some game. Noticed that Fish is on stage!!! AAAAAA! Sorry, don't get to take pics for her. But later learned that Chris, who went with her, took it for her. Anyway, she was ridiculed on stage. She brought it to herself anyway. :P The emcees asked each and everyone their names and where are they from. When it's Fish's turn, she said that her nick in RO is Fishiee and: "Does anyone here know me??". Guess how the crowd responded? "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!". Hehehe! XD Poor Fish. They played some Pass the Angeling Pillow game. Winners get a more expensive prize, the losers get errr a less expensive prize.

Finally, it's my turn at the cashier! GARRGGGH!!! I miscalculated and the vouchers that I purchased were not enough! The guy asks me to cancel one item. Ok, nevermind, go buy somemore and then come back. Sounds like nothing would go wrong right? Hahahahaha....

Anyway, it's going to be a pretty darn long story. I"ll cut it into parts. To be continue...

Slacking Sunday

What no RO Carnival 2005 pics and post up yet? Ahhh sorrrryyyy!!!! Was suppose to blog last nite but got side tracked talking to friends on MSN. "What you bought?", "Anymore pics of the Huntress ( aka Da Bomb)??"... hahah...

Then after bathing, was suppose to work on it but fell asleep while my hair's still wet. Can tell how wasted I was.

Anyway, just woke up not too long. Still feel tired. Will work on it today lah.

Most probably will split it to a few parts. I'm sure I've missed out some activities/performace while lining up to buy stuff, or should I say lining up trying to buy stuff. After all, I write about my own experience. Toodles!

Which Deadly Sin Do you Represent?

I am Envy.

Envy
Which deadly sin do you represent? (Angel Sanctuary Pics)

brought to you by Quizilla

Wow. Insightful indeed.

Check out all the best possible results, which isn't much since there's only 7 of em.

I would say I'm also Pride, Wrath and Sloth. But Envy definitely struck a chord with this line: "You probably don't realise all your own qualities and pity yourself daily."

Now if I could shape shift, that would kick ass! ;P

New Year's Resolution: Part 2

Figured there are a few things I need to add in. But first, let's have a recap of what I've listed so far:

1) Meet more people. (in progress, weee!)

2) Improve my financial management. (put more effort, man! -_-#)

3) Be more spontaneous. (almost there)

4) Don't get so hung up about the past. (in progress)

5) Get my own wheels. T__T

6) Achieve, if not, a step closer to my dream.

7) Stop procastinating.

8) Try more crazy stuff. (no drugs, killing, raping, maming and any other things that is harmful to self and others.)

Oookay, here are the ones I want to add, some from my sidebar profile:

9) Be more cheerful (as suggested by someone.)

10) More Independent (quite already but some things still can't.)

11) Swear less in real life (heheh, swear less when online but it got to real life these days.)

12) Don't be so selfish (Friday at XL-Shop was a step. I let Kenji play with my err Transformer.)

13) Use less of lah/mah/ler in both real life and online. (Recently have been using alot and I can tell that my English is deterioting.)

14) Be more confident not only in my skills, but also looks. (Hehe, has been increasing lately. Careful now, don't want to be Pride.)

Just so the list won't end at a "bad luck" number:

15) Be happy! Live!

How's that? Perfect, right? I will do my best and make 2005 the year I triumph over myself! Yay!

After all, my greatest enemy is myself.

Just Got Back From Ragnarok Online Carnival 2005

Just took supper, and body a bit sticky. Waiting to cool down and then go bath. Oh don't worry, I've washed up my hands and feet. ;)

RO Carnival 2005 is frustrating and fun at the same time. Bump into a couple of friends. Give me a bit of time to clean up the pics and I"ll blog about it.

The Day Malaysia Stood Still Part 2

Power's back on around 1:30pm. Will check for other places and update here.

Update 1:41pm: Bro called and saying his office is still out. Bro office: KL.

Update 2:30pm: PJ and Muar is still down.

The Day Malaysia Stood Still Part 1

It blacked out at around 12:30pm. Office is running on generator.

Mac said his Taman Tun friend told him that there's no power over there. His friends that are on MSN all were offline automatically.

Friend that I was chatting with on Yahoo messenger sent an SMS to me saying her place (Johor) has no electricity.

Called home, the fax machine did not kicked in. That means no power.

Called Dad's handphone and they are at PJ Section 17. There's no power over there as well. Mom said everywhere's experiencing traffice jam. Probably traffic light's out.

Mac just updated me (from his friends) that Klang, Kajang, Cyberjaya has no power as well. Astro, TV Stations and Radio stations are all off the air. Except for Radio 4. They announced that they are running on generator.

Apparently the whole Klang Valley is out.

I'm sending an SMS to my friend at SP to see if they are experiencing black out as well. Ooh, she just replied and there's power there.

Stay Tune.

Update 1:20pm: Kar Cher updated that Melaka and Seremban is affected as well.

Joke

A friend told me this joke through MSN:

There was a Chinese lady married to an English gentleman and they lived in London. The poor lady was not very proficient in English, but managed somehow to communicate with her husband. The real problem arose whenever she had to shop for groceries.

One day, she went to the butcher and wanted to buy pork legs. She didn't know how to put forward her request, and in desperation, lifted up her skirt to show her thighs. The butcher got the message and the lady went home with pork legs.

The next day, she needed to get chicken breasts. Again, she didn't know how to say, and so she unbuttoned her blouse to show the butcher her breast. The lady got what she wanted.

The third day, the poor lady needed to buy sausages. She brought her
husband to the store..... so what did she do?

What are you thinking?

HellOOOooooooOOOooo, her husband speaks

Not bad eh?

Chocolate Ecstacy

If there's anything that taste like Heaven, It's definitely this.

Went to KLCC last nite. Went to New Zealand Natural to try out their ice cream. Ordered a regular cone with two scoops. I wasn't sure what to choose so I asked the girl what's good.

She asked: "Do you like chocolate?". I nodded my head like an idiot. "Then you should try Chocolate Ecstacy. It's loaded with...". I can't hear what type of chocolate was it loaded with as my mind is only full of "CHOCOLATECHOCOLATECHOCOLATECHOCOLATE".

Then I asked her what else is good? She said: "Do you like nuts?". "Yeah", I replied. "Then you should try..." Errm I forgot what's it called but its made of nuts and there are still bits and pieces of em inside.

She put the scoop on top with Chocolate Ecstacy. Aiya... should have put the it at the bottom, save the best for last. The regular cone's RM 7.80 + 5% government tax = RM 8.20. Okay lah, as long as I don't eat everyday.

Anyway, bought these:

Midori No Hibi manga vol.7. Vol. 8's not out yet.

Went to Kinokuniya's Japanese section and picked up my order:

FullMetal Alchemist Comic In Figure: #Red. It's more like a mini statue with Al and Ed. And the manga's an adventure puzzle type. Just flipped through only. Not exactly sure how it is yet. It's in Japanese.

The statue's quite nice. Small but very detail. Will take pics of it when I get home. Hhhmmm, didn't I say that for the Delorean? :P

Mickey

Mickey's our dog. He's a mixed of Dalmation and Alsation.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Mickey, look at the camera!!

I think Mickey is starting to get used to us. I'm not yet though. He at times still barks at me for no reason.

Last night was quite funny. My bro locked the car and Mickey hears the car go "bweep-beet" and he proceeds to bark at the car. Heh. We have to tell him it's okay, nothing is wrong only he's willing to shut up.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Mickey sit! Good dog!

He's more used to Mom and Dad. Of course, since they are always at home. Mom taught him how to shake hand and he knows.

So far he hasn't chased any of our cats yet. Tiny's not afraid of him but Toffie doens't want to be Mickey's friend. I believe hokkien calls it "kor koot". To translate, errr "slippery pants"(?).

Sometimes he whines at night. Probably want company or wants to go home. But when mom came out to switch on the living room lights. He stopped.

Don't cry lah, Mickey.

Note: Alsation is also know as German Sheppard.

For Someone Your Age...

You are really wise. Thank you for making me see it.

Welcome to my blog! ;)

Note

Just saw Morticya^33's blog that they went to Halo Cafe.

I wonder if the notice board, for patrons to leave cute cute notes or "we were here!" or some shit is still there? If it is... I wonder if the one Ex no.3 and I left is still there?

.....

Yeah, it's a great place. Great drinks, great atmosphere and great music.

C: Housekeeping

Wanted to go out today. It rained. So, hide in the house.

Nothing much to do. Played Ragnarok Online a lil but felt bored. Slept for most of the day. Woke up for dinner and slept again. That's when I dreamt about "her" again for the third time :)).

Woke up and cleaned up my hard disk. Now it's 2.43GB out of 9.30GB. Previously it was 1.50Gb. Deleted my Personal Oracle and Oracle for Windows. Installed it the last time when Ex no.3 was working for Informatics. She lend me the CDs to install.

Didn't need it now, actually wanted to leave it inside and find some way to back it up on a disc but I couldn't wait any longer.

Bye bye, hope someone find you more usefull at the Big Recycle Bin In The Sky.

New Year's Resolution.

It's not too late to make em. Here goes:

1) Meet more people. (in progress)

2) Improve my financial management. (in progress -_-')

3) Be more spontaneous. (hmmm... almost there)

4) Don't get so hung up about the past. (in progress)

5) Get my own wheels. T__T

6) Achieve, if not, a step closer to my dream.

7) Stop procastinating.

8) Try more crazy stuff. (Live a lil, damn it!)

Surprised there's no "get a girlfriend" ? :)

Did I left anything out? Hmmmm....

I Dreamt Of Her Again!

Dunno what I"m talking about ;)? She's the girl in my dreams that I've blogged about in the past. I really miss her.

OMG! Forgot to ask for her phone number or any other contacts like MSN, like Mrs. Wang Li Hom suggested -__-'. Also forgot to ask her if she exists in real life, or just in my dreams or.... something else. >__<

She's sicked. Awh, poor thing. :( She refused to take her meds. Heh, so cute, like small kid. Have to pujuk her to take em.

3 times already. *humming*~

Friday Dinner

Actually wanted to go to KLCC after work. Friend/colleague messaged me in Yahoo! Messenger. Asked me if I wanted to join her for a drink.

Since go KLCC also just go there alone and have a look look only, so told her "yes". At first we were deciding on where to go to drink. She said somewhere near, how about Bangsar? Better not be near TMC ahaha!

Hey, did you know? The shopping mall that is opposite of TMC is opened! It looks quite good. I"ll need to go check it out some time.

A bit later she told me she forgot that she has a meeting after work, it would take half an hour. Hhmm... since I've waited for her, wait a bit longer won't die.

Decided not to wait in the office. Have been sitting the whole day. Told her I would be waiting for her at the lobby.

After a bit of standing around, she got down and we walked to her car. On the way, there's this dog on the same way with us. Hahah, this dog is really street smart! It knows how to cross the roads, look left and right to see if there are any cars.

Noticed she has Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad cd in her car's CD player. She said she can borrow it to me if I'm interested. Hhmm, oklah but put in her car first.

We went to Bangsar's Lotus mamak to yum char. At first wanted to just drink Nescafe Ice, but felt hungry. So ordered Maggi Mee Goreng. Yumm~

Asked he why doesn't she need to go home to cook for family. She said her hubby goes home late and her baby, well they have a baby sitter.

We talked for quite a while. I'm impressed with her life, renewing my faith in people and relationships. Definitely can learn from her. :)

When she dropped me off at the Bangsar's LRT station, realised I forgot to get the CD from her. Nevermind lah, next time.

Question

Ok, since all my readers are girls... imagine you are a guy.

If a girl jokes about "why didn't date her?" twice, is she hitting on you?

Matchmaking Part 2

I've been duped!! Melody wasn't trying to match make! She's setting me up for something more sinister!! Glad I didn't errr completely fell for it.

Knew there was something fishy. *Whew!*

Today's Lunch

Had lunch with another friend/colleague from the other department and her friend. Her friend, actually seen her before. Always see her when taking the shuttle.

Colleague/friend told me after the Team Building trip. Onsite engineers' have been calling SC and asked for her to log calls. Hahaha, what to do lah, she's pretty and they are a bunch of ham sap lous. More work for her I guess.

Had lunch at our office building's cafe. The food here is freaking expensive!! Had Thai Fried Rice. Though the taste is good, but it's over priced.

Colleague/friend's friend mentioned that she might bumped into me, since she always go to the 2nd floor's wash room (My office's at the 2nd floor). I was dumb founded, I asked: "Why, you go to the gents?" She ^o^.

Made A New Friend Today.

No, she's not an action figure. -__-"

Remember this post <--- ?

Yeah, met her. Well, online anyway. The friend introduced us on Yahoo Messenger as she needs to find out how to get to ** Towers by public transport. "When you come by the Federal Highway, you would see a cat sitting beside the road. Then turn to your right, and you will see a big truck. Follow it and you will reach **." XD Hahahah, Bad Directions Guy!

She's fun to chat with. She"ll be joining sometime in January. Future lunch mate? :)

Matchmaking

Melody is trying to matchmake me with her friend. She was stroking my ego and hinting how her friend will be perfect for me...

I appreciate the offer, though she's kinda hot (hard to judge with two blurry pics) and abit the cute side, don't you think that it's best that we start off as friends first? And of course, it's a 2 way thing.

I don't even know her yet, and I'm more into personality and character type more over looks. Okay, looks have to be at least ok and attracts me. And, please no more high maintenance girls.

Wavy, curly hair, yeah. XP

Lunch

Yay! Had company to do lunch with. Should have done this sooner. :))

We Got A Doggy!!!

It's a supposely 5 months old puppy. Bro told me about it when on the way back. My parents' friend (I really have no idea who the heck are they) gave it to us.

I thought it's going to be some kind of lil cute pup that I can kick around cuddle with. But when I reached home and got out of car, I saw this teenager sitting in front of the house... barking at me.

He (or is it a she? I haven't check.) will be here and see if he can get used to the place, and us. And of course, if we can get use to him.

Sorry, no pics. Batteries are charging and I think it's too dark outside to take pics right now, even with the lights on. How it look like? It's some kind of mixed breed, white and some black spots. What breed mixed with what? Eerrr I dunno. I overheard my mom told my bro its a damnation domination dalmation mixed with dunno what breed. I have to check with mom. I"ll tell you more about it when I've taken pics and post it up.

First an invader cat and now a dog? As much as I love animals, two cats are already a handful to handle. Now we have 4 four legged friends running around the house. This is going to get interesting.

The Wedding Part 3 - The Wedding Dinner

Mom woke me up from my nap *KNOCK KNOCK!* "Ei, getting late ah!". I woke up, huh! 6:15pm!!! The dinner is 7:00pm sharp!! Yeah, riiiiiight. You can't trust the word "sharp" in a Chinese wedding dinner. How right I was. Read on.

Took a quick shower, wore the shirt and pants I chose earlier (sorry girls, no pics ;P). We left the house at around 6:55pm. Hahaha.

The dinner's at this hotel called Pearl Point. Took a while to find parking cuz not familiar with the place. We parked at the basement. The invitation card did not state which floor would the dinner be. Lots of errors in it. A refund should be claimed. Someone should be fired. In my best Donald Trump voice, "You're fired."

Met up with some other "relatives" we saw at the groom's place earlier. One of their car's window's stuck. It wouldn't wind up. Dad helped them. My Dad's a Jack of All Trades. Asked them where the dinner's gonna be, which floor. They say they know and they will bring us there.

Went to the lift. Bump into my Kai Cher's husband. He say we have to take the lift to the ground floor, and change lift to get to the 5th floor. Hhhmm, but the sign in the lift says we can go straight to the 5th floor -__-'. Nevermind, you want to argue with the guy who just came down from there? When we're at the 5th floor, we bump into the people who took the lift from the basement straight to the 5th floor. -__-" Please remind me not to ask directions from someone.

Anyway, we went to the room where the dinner is. My Kai parents welcomed us and the "friend" is there as well to help out. Talked to her for a while, make small talk. You know "You look great tonight , wanna hump?." and all that.

Kai Ma showed us to our table. You can hear romantic songs playing. The uncle and aunty is already there, gossiping. Don't you just love relatives? There were extra 4 seats. 2 are for my grand parents who obviously can't make it. Another 2 is for my grand uncle and aunty. They did not show up.

So, we were late, it's 7:30pm. We talked and waited, talked and waited. It's 8:30pm already. Dishes are not served yet. Probably there are some people still not here yet. How typical right? Saw two girls wearing tube top and mini skirt with knee high boots. I think they are trying to go with the Jill Valentine look from Resident Evil game and movie. Errr why do you wear like that to a wedding dinner? Doesn't seem approriate. Look like.....

8:30pm. No food yet. This is getting out of hand. A waitress asks us if we would like some beer. Beer on an empty stomach? Why not? Sounds like a brilliant idea. I took a glass.

9:00pm. My beer's almost finish. My face lit up like a red LED, and still no food yet!! This is ridiculous!! Is this going to be a wedding supper??! Waitress asks if I want more beer. Maybe it was the beer talking, I took another glass. The uncle too starts to think this is ridiculous, he went to "advise" my Kai parents "to hell with those who are late.".

9:30pm. Music/songs' silenced. They dimmed down the lights. Some over played tune by Enigma starts playing. Waiters started entering the ball room in formation and proceeded to each tables. With a tray of dish on their hand, the middle's lit up with a candle. Each of them just stood right next to each table. Waiting....

If I weren't half drunk, I would kick him in the balls and grabbed the food. Some girl, a waitress; dressed nicer than the others, came in sitting on some sort of chair carried by some waiters... you know, like as if she's some sort of princess, with a tray of food on her hand and served the bride and groom's table. Only then, the other waiters place food on our table. Chow time!

Lights are back to normal. The aunty squeaked "THEY ARE SERVING US FROZEN FOOD! CAN YOU BELEIVE THAT! FROZEN FOOD! I CAN GET THESE FROM THE SUPERMARKET!!!". If I weren't half drunk, I might hide under the table. The uncle shush her up.

Second dish came in, it's shark's fin soup. The aunty squeaked "SUCH STRONG MAGGI CHICKEN STOCK SMELL! CAN YOU BELEIVE THAT!!? THEY USE MAGGI CHICKEN STOCK!! THE SMELL IS SO STRONG!!". She was shushed up again. Some people arr, yes it's cheap and cheesy, but it's people's wedding mah.

I think it's somewhere between the 5th and 4th dish, we heard the Ah Naa emcee goes "Testing wann tou twee...". He started to invite the bride, groom and their parents up to the stage. "Let's invite the groom, who from the front looks like Lau Tak Wah, the side looks like Jacky Cheung, the back looks like Lai Ming..." (translated from Canto). Sounds like an abomination to me. He did that to all those who were invited up to the stage, with different' Hong Kong celeb names of course.

What are they doing on the stage? They are doing a YAAAAAAMMMM SEEENNGGGGGGGG with everyone. I went KAAAM PAIII! Okay, maybe I'm more than half drunk. After the "yam seng", the parents went back to their seats except for the bride and groom. The emcee started to wish them have a good career, buy big house, buy big car... sounds cliched and corny right? It got worst. He started talking dirty to the bride and groom. I heard he's getting paid for this. RM 600. Life is so unfair.

After the emcee finished his story with how the bride and groom got a dozen of kids who grew up to become successful people and they kissed, we continue eating. Saw a cute chick (i think she's like the manager here, or someone who's in a high position) walked passed. Our eyes met. She smiled, and I smiled back, raising my glass ala "here's a toast to you. Okay, I'm officially drunk. Maybe I should change my profile to "I only drink on special occasions". Well, I don't really drink mah... I get drunk. LOL! I'm lucky I didn't hurl. It's been a while since I've had so much (as in two glasses of) beer in a night. I only drink on special occasions and when clubbing, which pretty much is rare these days.

Anyway, it's 11:00 pm. Dinner's finish. Most of the alcohol in my system were "flushed" out. They thanked us for coming. We went home. The End. Oh, and everyone lived happily ever after. The End. Ooh! ooh! And I am proud that I didn't hurl. The End.

Can you sense the sarcasm?

Wedding Part 2 - Tea Drinking Session

We did not really attended the full wedding. We only went to the groom (my kai kor lah)'s place and waited for the groom to come back with the bride. That was the plan anyway.

As everyone slept late last night, we woke up late. We're suppose to be at the groom's house at 1:00 p.m. but we were late. We've reached at 1:30p.m. Fashionably late. Grandparents didn't follow. Everyone learnt their lesson. D'OH!

We saw bits and pieces of red paper already on the road.. The bride's here already and they have burnt the firecrackers. So, we sit around under the "tent" shelter thingy tht's set up outside and took half of the road. Had some drinks, nuts and talked to the aunty and uncle again. Waiting for my parent's turn to let the bride and groom to pour tea for my parents to drink. Some Chinese wedding custom.

After the tea drinking session, we had lunch there. There weren't enough dishes and rice to go around, so we only had a light lunch. Hhmmm, didn't see the "friend" around. Maybe mingle with the relatives somewhere in the house.

After lunch, we went back. Bro and I went to Mid Valley Megamall after reached home a while. Went back home and took a short nap.

Yippee! You can sense my enthusiastic of typing this post....

To be continue: Wedding Part 3 - The Wedding Dinner. Did I get lucky with the "friend"? Spoilers: No. Stay tune.

Wedding Part 1 - Eve of Wedding.

Hmm nothing much really. Nothing even blog worthy. On the eve, It's just some sort of gathering at the groom's place, my Kai Kor's ( translated as godbro, in case you have short term memory) place.

Just to clear things up. My Kai Ma (God mother) is also my mom's cousin. So, they are my aunty, uncle and cousins.

They invited my grand parents as well. Well I understand if they invite my grandma but my granddad?? Recently he can't walk anymore. So, my god sis and her husband came with the wheelchair and brought him there.

Even with the walker (you know those metal thingys where they can support themself with) and the wheelchair, it's no easy task. You see, in our house, the ground's not even. There's like a step down here, two steps up there and stuff. You"ll know what I mean if you are staying in Subang. We've tried to encourage him to walk more, you know, exercise a bit. But he refuse to. So walking a bit would tire him out. Anyway, we manage to bring him there.

Not much of my mother's side's relatives are there. Besides us, there's also another uncle aunty who we only see each other on occasions like Chinese New Year, weddings and funerals. Food's not bad. It's prepared by this aunty. She woke up at 3 am to make and cook all the food.

If it weren't old people, it's kids that's all over the place. Talk a lil, eat a lil. I had a can of Tiger beer. I don't usually drink, but it's a happy occasion, so what the heck. Keeps the blood circulation flowing. *hic*

God parents and god bro were so busy that they did not have time to entertain us. Sigh, you know lah the usually "eat lah, sit lah, sorry jiu fuu mm tou". I find it funny. Our relatives always have no time to entertain us but when they need help.... Only my god sis came with her baby son, talked to us and let us played with him. Heh, he's so cute!

So boring. Anyway, when we it's time to go home, my god sis' husband and his friend fetched my grand parents back for us again. Well, they need to bring back the wheel chair mah. So, when reached home. I immediately had to use the bathroom. My dad as well.

After coming out of the bathroom, my mom was yelling for my dad. Apparently the neighbour's friend bang our old car that is parked outside or something. She asked me to check and they helped my grand dad into the house.

I came out of the house, the neighbour's friend immediately drove off. Probably panicked. I went to check the car. The friend is still in my god sis' husband's car. She told me it's the front of the car. Went to checked. Dad came out shortly to check. Doesn't seem to have any damage to the car. Probably just "kissed" it. Told the friend there's nothing wrong with it.

My god sis' husband came out with the wheelchair and put it into his car. We thanked him for his help and the wheelchair. My dad asked them how are they related "Your sister ah?". Well that time we were wondering. They say they are just good friends. The friend followed cuz my god sis' husband is fetching her home. My dad kepoh (busy body in hokkien) go and ask where she stay. She answered she stayed in Klang (somewhere). At that time, my mom came out to thank them and also kepoh as well. I guess it runs in the family. "ohhh, there arr...". My mom then said I used to have a girlfriend (ex no.3) who stayed in Klang. "Last time lah, don't misunderstand."

Oh crap, as soon as I heard that, I almost fall flat on my face -_-'. I know what's going on. They are not kepoh-ing, they are trying to "promote" me!! -__-" The friend knew what's going and just smiled. You know, the kind of smile... Geee, so embarrassing.

Anyway, after sending them off, took a shower, online a while and went to sleep. Long day ahead the next day. The "wedding" in the afternoon and wedding dinner at errr night.

Hhmmm, anything interesting happened? Let me spoil it for you: No. Stay tune, if you are not already bored to death. I know I am.

The Past Few Days...

Have we not learn anything from it?? The past few days have shown us how our lives are so precious and fragile. We shouldn't be taking it and our love ones' for granted!!

Value every moment that is spent together, you"ll never know when it will happen.

:(

NOOOO, KAWA!! NOOOOOOO!!!!

Don't kepoh!!!

AAAAAAHH!! Too late!!

Huh, Saw That Coming.

I'm not surprised. I think I am getting better at this.

What A Way To Start A New Year

I was brushing my teeth with my electronic tooth brush. The battery hatch was not close properly.

The batteries ejected out. One dropped on the toilet floor, and the another into the toilet hole. I have to stick my hand into it to take it out.

I've washed my hand with soap and dettol twice and I still feel dirty. Oh, I'm going to enjoy this year. XD

Hello, 2005!

Hhhmmm, Not Bad What.

Staying at home, listening to Cowboy Bebop OST CDBox CDs (more on that later). Not as sien as I thought it would be.

My 2004 was about thinking and reflecting. Maybe thinking a bit too much.

I guess I've grown.

Somehow, my so called New Year's Resolution just can't seem to "come out". It's ok. If it takes a few days to do it, then it will take a few days to do it.

I'm Really Impressed,

With someone right now. Maybe I can learn a thing or two from her.

Happy New Year!!

Wow, what a nap. I thought it's Saturday 12:30 noon.

Anyway, Happy New Year to all!

Hhhmmm... New Year's Resolution not done yet. No, "Get Some" does not count!!!! >_<"
