Casshern

Doc Put This On Me To Prevent Me From Lickin My Wounds...

Also pronounce as "Cashaan".

In the early 70s there was this anime series called "Shinzo Ningen Casshern". Casshern, a cyborg hero who fought to defend human race from his father's robot experiments that went wrong. The anime's pretty much your standard good versus evil type. You know, evil robots comes out, Cashern defeats them, repeat in next week's episode.

The movie however is totally different. The only thing that is the same is having Cashern fighting robots. 50 years of war between Europa and the Eastern Federation, Earth in its current state is plague with diseases, genetic disorder, and contamination. Professor Azuma is experimenting on reegenerative cells called "neo cells". Meanwhile, the professor's son Tetsuya is killed in the war.

A freak lightning bolt hits the professor's soup err I mean "neo-cells" and out came a-walking mutants, who after the military fires at them, decided to annihilate humanswith an army of robots.

The professor revives his son, Tetsuya's corpse with "neo cells". Hence, Tetsuya is reborn in an invincible body that must wear a newly designed suit, that prevents his body from bursting itself by itself. Overly developed muscles it seems.

You can watch the trailer here: Casshern movie trailer. Needs Quicktime to view.

Don't be mislead by the trailer. It's not just a sci-fi actioner. The movie is full of anti-war messages. Would you fight just because of the reasons that is given by the government? Is everything appears as it is? Does the end justify the means? Would you leave your love one to do what's right? Why are we here?

I can't believe I read on the Net that the movie was nominated for one of the Worst Movies of 2004 in Japan! The movie is deep. Soundtrack is good. The special effects is just mind blowing. The CG effects blends quite well with the actors. Camera work is done in music video style, in which I thought was pretty cool. After all, the director is Kazuaki Kiriya. Whotf is this guy? He's a director for J-Pop music videos.

I just wished it's a lil shorter. Some scenes were done quite confusingly for some people, but not a problem for me.

If they have done it exactly like the anime, how hard could that be? It would be just another sci-fi actioner.

You can download the movie from this Boxtorrent link: Casshern torrent. I don't want to link it to the Boxtorrent page as someone posted a spoiler there. But for credit's sake, an unclickable link: http://www.boxtorrents.com/details.php?id=11984 . Of course you need Bittorrent. Preferrably watch it on the big screen. I hope that it would reach Malaysian shores so that I can watch it again, the big screen experience.

Casshern the movie, definitely worth the time.

Of Dreams And Wings

Had another weird dream last night.

Dreamt that I saw this girl in white, sitting up in a fetal position, crying. I noticed that she had wings on her back... white angelic wings.

Not real wings, but those costume type where you strap it to your back. No halo though.

As I walk towards her, her sobbing suddenly stopped. She raised her head a bit. I can only see her sad crying eyes, with tears still flowing... she called out my name.

And that's when I woke up. Was it "her" again?

Finally Get To Watch "Casshern"!

Was totally blown away!

Trying to write a review but still in total awe. Definitely one of the best movie from last year.

Okay, back to review...

"Poochi poochi poochi pooochi!"

Damn, this anime almost made me pee in my pants!

Fun and hillarious! The ending was a happy ending too, though I would have prefered it to be the other way round. If it ends the other way round, it would be more realistic and perhaps could teach its target viewers a thing or two about life and reality. How we must accept the things that happened in life and move on.

Mort, why were you depresed by the ending? Cuz the fun finally stop?

Mindless fun!

Are You Romantic Or Realistic?: Comment Post

Let's see:

"You life your life like a fairy tale... or at least you try to.
Living for magical moments, you believe there's only one true love for you.
Love is the most important thing in your life, and you don't take it for granted.
Your perfect match loves to be in love as much as you do!"

I guess it's true. My fairy tale isn't like meeting a princess, fell in love blah blah, slay the dragon blah blah, and we live happily ever after in the big pink castle.

My fairy tale is that the girl would be with me no matter what, through thick and thin, rich or poor, sick or healthy.... and of course, I would be with her.

"We've always have each other."

Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai

Sashi, I Don't Think We Are In Abenobashi Anymore...

Basically means "Abeno Bridge Magical Mall" or "Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi website".

From Gainax. Course I have not seen FLCL yet, but I think it's from the same people who did FLCL. Art looks the same.

Brother bought the DVDs cuz, once he went to a friends house and they saw this anime that his friend downloaded. He got home and keep ranting and raving about how hillarious this anime is.

Anyway, just saw 4 episodes. It's about two kids, who's living at a shopping district, and it's about to be closed and demolish. One day, something happened and they were transported to different. But, the people are the same and the place looks familiarly like the shopping district.

The first world that they were transported to is a fantasy RPG game type world. Didn't quite find this episode funny as many anime has "been there, done that" with the RPG game world.

Pervo

The second one that they went to is the sci-fi Super Robot world. To me, this episode is where all the fun starts! I think someone at Gainax forgot to take their medication again when writing this episode! XD

Abeno Angels!

Only 13 episodes. Looking forward to finish em all.

Bad Mood Day?

You know what? I should have one. Everyone has it, why not me?

I should "schedule" it on hmmm the most unsuspecting day, like say... Friday? When everyone is cheery and can't wait for the weekends.

Just to show a side of me that not many people has the "privilege" to see. And use lines like:

- "I don't have time for your petty problems."
- "Yada yada yada... EVERYONE has problems..."
- End every sentences with a "Hmmph!"
- End people's every sentences with a "Yeah, riiight."
- "Who died and made you king?"
- ".... *breathes out, close eyes and shakes head*"
- "I don't have all day, you know."
- "Bitch bitch moan moan... what else is new?"
- "I have a secret: I see dumb people... all the time!"

"Bad mood" enough? Any more lines I could use? Suggestions are always welcome! ^__^ Come, come! It will be fun! ^o^

MJ Says I Sound Differently On The Phone

Now is that a good thing or a bad thing? ;)

Forgot to ask how different also.... ^__^?

Ho-hoooo! I Think I Am In Love With Another Band

Thanks to Mort, for sending me some Asian Kung-Fu Generation songs! ;)

I dunno what is what, which is which yet. Just had a chance to really sit down and listen to them.

Hhm, I wonder if Tower Records has their CD? If not YesAsia.com would have to do.... hehehehehehohohohohhahahaa!!

Christ's Most Requested Miracles

Yoko Kanno, Mai Yamane & The Seatbelts - Live! Souvenior of Tokyo

Looked what I've found! www.boxtorrents.com has this vid clip of Yoko Kanno, Mai Yamane and The Seatbelts performing some Cowboy Bebop tracks live.

To download, you need BitTorrent installed. The video clip is 236MB. In AVI format. Picture quality is just okay, still can make out the faces. Or maybe it's just my codecs. This is as close as I can get to the concert. Apparently there's a DVD available.

Here's the tracks:

1. Tank!
2. Bad Dog No Biscuit
3. Want it all Back (with Mai Yamane)
4. Blue (with Mai Yamane)
5. Yoko Kanno Piano Solo

Some vidcaps:

Kanno-sama's piano solo.

I recognised that they are from their Earth Girls Are Easy tour, which is included in the Disc 4 of Cowboy Bebop CD-Box OST Limited Edition set.

If there are no seeders, I"ll be glad to seed the file.

Very energetic! What a way to start off the day!

I did not and now have to wait for the DVD. Dang!

SMS From Ex No.3 Again

Wishing me Happy New Year. I replied her by wishing her have a good one as well and asked her how's her ang pow collection. She said she have not counted her ang pows yet. Okay, now I know she's not married yet.

She asked what I'm doing right now. Told her that I'm doing hard disk house cleaning. "Didn't go out?", she asked. "Go out where??", I replied. She answered, "Go out with friends and have fun?". I ask her back, "What friends??". Hhmmm, trying to check on my status?

Okay I admit, I'm being childish there. She asked why do I sound like that, no fun talking to me. I figured she might be online in ICQ, so I turned it on. Yup, she's on alright. I told her to talk in ICQ instead of wasting money sending SMSs back and forth.

I told her: "What do you want? Sorry if this sounds rude, If you need help or a favor, there's no need for small talk." She said she just wanted to talk, breaking the ice a bit... not needing or wanting any help, and why do I sound like "sek chor yuok" (In Canto: Eat Wrong Medicine) whenever she's talking to me. I told her, "No lah, had bad experiences with so called friend(s), who after you help them, they stop replying."

So we talked a lil and I tried to fling a lil mud at her. She didn't get it. So, I told her it was a typo and is quite tired tonight. *Whew*!

Hmm okay, I promise I"ll "grow up" the next time I talk to her. Sigh, kawa ah....

There are other blogs that I'm thinking of linking. But need to ask first. I also intend to include forums or sites that I visit or simply find em amusing.

Good Luck, Kenji!

Went to XL-Shop's SM Shopping Arcade branch today. Almost forgot that Kenji has resigned (about a week ago).

Almost expect to see him there. But he wasn't of course.

Aah, good times.... All the best and good luck, Kenji!

Cowboy Bebop CD-Box OST Limited Edition CDs

OMG! My Kryptonite!!

Yoko Kannon is God!

Bought this set a couple of months back. No doubt it's a great set. It didn't just contain new tracks that are not in previous Original Soundtrack (OST) CDs but also "TV versions" of it and memorable dialogues.

For example, the version of Want It All Back in this set is the exact same one that they played in the series. The one in Cowboy Bebop (CB) OST 2 - No Disc is the ermm full/album version.

Back of Case
Back of CD set.

Originally the set comes with a cardboard box where you can slide it out. This version they made it into a folding case:

Inside

If you've taken out the CD, you would then be able to read the CD track list.

It also comes with a lyrics booklet, with a pic of Spike's gun; the Jericho 941 Custom on the front and back of the cover:

Booklet

The 4th Disc is my favourite as it contains Yoko Kannon and the SeatBelts performing live! It definitely let's you experience being blown away by the energy of the band's live performance. This disc also contains vocal versions of Tank! (Sang by Ed) and Go Go Cactus Man (sang by Cowboy Andy).

I seem to recall when it first came out, the set was at around RM 100. Now it's RM 59.90. Of course, both are "Taiwan versions".

Here's a site I found with all the track listings. Lazy to type it out myself: Track Listings and Dialogues.

The CD set is still available at anime shops or CD shops that sells anime OSTs.

HellBlazer Lite

America's Latest Anti-Smoking Campaign

Just came back from Constantine. A movie adaptation of my favourite DC Vertigo Comic, HellBlazer the movie version sure ain't. I would say it's a "lite" version.

However, I still find it entertaining. Knew that there would be alot of changes from the comic series. So, might as well keep an open mind to watch.

Keanu is still not John Constantine. Not "bastard" enough. At least Keanu is not acting as himself.

Here's a good site on the comic version: Straight To Hell - A John Constantine: HellBlazer Site

The States will be showing it on Feb 18th. Apparently Asians loved the movie. If it's received well in the States, you can bet your lung a sequel would be in the works. There's already news on a 20 minute extended DVD edition just to please the comic fans.

Blog Music/Song Update: Feeling Fine!

It's Feeling Fine by L'Ar~en~Ciel. From the album Smile, this song has become one of my favourite Larukku tunes along with Ready Steady Go. And the Smile album has become one of my most overplayed CD. XD

Hope you would like it!

Bark First Ask Questions Later.

Parents came to pick me up at the Asia Jaya LRT station after work. Mom trying to tell me something by, apparently doing some sort of signal hand movement that I do not understand at all -__-?. For a moment I thought she was flipping me.

When I opened the car door, suddenly heard a loud bark. It's Mickey in the car. He couldn't recognise me -__-'. Mom told me to sit in the front. Mom asked me to seat the co-driver seat. After getting in the car, Mickey stopped barking. He started sniffing me and staring at me.

I guess it was dark. He thought someone suddenly tried to get into the car and he just goes into auto pilot. But it had happened before in broad daylight. He suddenly couldn't recognise me. When I just came back from opening an account with MayBank, I walked home, opened the gate and there he goes barking again until he recognise me. Such a weird dog.

Watching him in the car sure is funny and cute. He just walks around, jumps up and down from the seat, peeks here and there. I asked him if he would like to listen to the radio and turned it on. The DJ's voice suddenly boomed out from the speakers. He kept looking around, trying to find where is the DJ. Once, Dad made a sudden break and Mickey almost fell onto the car floor. He peek up to see what's going on. XD

When we reached home, he refused to get down from the car. We had to tell him that we're home and he slowly came out from the car. Mom says he probably thinks we brought him to the vet.

LOL!

Dunno what's right with me today. Was reluctant to get up from bed this morning. Woke up, lie down and slept for 5 minutes and refused to get up until another 5.

Morning was in a very good mood even though very busy at work. Now still fine. Did someone spike my morning coffee?

Blog music/song update tonight!

Post CNY Holiday Blues... Again.

Currently not so busy, but feels so lazy and lethargic.

Everyone seems to be in the same mood. Just sitting at their desk/cubicle looking blankly into space... or just surfing the Net. XD

Throat feels itchy. Felt like might get cold or something. Have that warm slight feverish feel from throat.

Stomach: too much New Year kuih x_x.

I better not fall sick and lose that 2 kg that I've gained recently.

Awh~

Just saw your SMS. That's sad.

Though I strongly believes in women's intuition (and mine), if you have not tried; why not give it a go? It's not like you are confessing your feelings to him... it's just hints.

Anyway, hope everything's okay. Don't feel sad kay? There are lots more single and available guys out there.

It's Valentine's Day. Doesn't mean you have to spend it with that someone special. You can just pamper yourself. Treat yourself to something nice, like chocolate cake, ice cream or something. Cheer up!

Expensive Dates?

Hmm quite a number of visitors this year. Remember that aunty and uncle that went to my godbro's wedding? The aunty that made a lot of hoo-ha? Yup, they came over. Came over with their daughter. Their son did not come over. Probably still in Hong Kong? Dunno. Don't care. Got eye candy. LOL.

She made a lot of fuss about when we (my bro and I) are getting married. So that we can give ang pows to their children. The first time she asked me I told her: "Tomorrow." The second time she asked me, she asked if I have a girlfriend. I sarcastically told her I have lots. And she seem to recall I used to have a girlfriend, where is she now blah blah where did I hide her blah blah... LOL, so funny. She's referring to ex-no.3. She met her before if my memory serves.

Told her that that one has become lek xi (canto: history), broke up quite some time ago. She went:"Awh, so sayang, she was so cute." Hhmm, ya ka? She started to blabs about what her son told her. Her son was telling her that these days it is expensive to get married. Hhmmm, true.

Her son also told her that even pak tor (canto: going steady/dating) is expensive. Apparently all the girls that her son met were gold diggers. Whenever they go out, her son have to pay everything. She asked us if this is true, are all Malaysian girls like that. *sweat* Eh, I can't speak for all Malaysian guys -__-'

She continued saying that if what her son told her is true, that all the girls expect guys to pay everything... she would persuade her son to find someone from HK -__-". Good, I guess. More for me. :P

Hhmm, is this true? Don't think so. Went out with "potential targets" before and they never expect me to pay anything. What do you think? Should it be:

1) Guy pay everything. Period.
2) Go Dutch.
3) Split. Maybe guy pay for movie, then girl pay for meal or vice versa.
4) Guy pay for this date, girl pay for the next.
5) Girl pay everything. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA! XD Heeeelarious! *ducks* ;P

Of course there are many other factors, you can just tell it how you want it. Any feedback is welcome. Assuming there is feedback.... *rolls eyes*

Happy Valentine's Day!

Now go spend lots of money! LOL!

In all seriousness, lovey dovey couples, enjoy!

Viva Genting Highlands - Part 4 The Temple

This is a photoblog post. Let the pics speaks for itself.

The temple entrance. Taken from the inside of course. I could take it from the outside if I want cars to run me down.

Whoah! Check out the Pagoda!

Look elephant!! o_O

View at the edge.

There's a place where the Guan Ying, the Goddess of Mercy, The Thunder and Lightning diety, and the Yu Lai Fat Zhou for people to pray. Did not take pics of them as I don't think its appropriate.

The 8 Fairies. Yup, from the Baa Xien Guo Hai (The 8 Fairies That Crossed The Sea) legend.

Some cool looking rocks with some stairs. I wanna rocks~ Ooooo~ hoooo~ XD

The 9 Dragons Wall.

The 18 Lohans. Can't fit all 18 of em in the pic as some of it is hiding at the end there at the curve.

Nice sky, nice hills. My hair came out so differently in the pic. Maybe it's the angle.

GOSH! O_O Giant Buddha! I can hear bells going *BONG BONG BONG* already! >_<

Buddha and I. Now my hair looks even more like my dad's. -__-"

Went home. Fell asleep in the car. Woke up and we are already at Subang. It's good to be back. Can't wait to on my comp. Heheh!

Viva Genting Highlands - Part 3 Casino Royale.

Casinos, casinos! Got a whole lot of money that’s ready to burn, so get those stakes up higher. Hohohoho! This is the first time that I've been to a coughlegalcough casino. Only been into an ilegal one before when I was a wee lil lad. The old lady's fault.

This one's called Monte Carlo. Took a pic and brought my digi cam back to the hotel and came back. They don't let cameras of any sorts (except handphones' i guess) in. As you can see, the entrance is decorated with Chinese New Year err stuff.

Don't like the place. Oozing with sleeze and negativity. And don't forget about the second hand smoke! Unfortunately I'm in there for the rest of the night.

Nothing much. Just browse here and there. Blackjack players yelling what sounds like "pitcher" like a maniac in hopes that the banker's cards would bust. Didn't try any. Just thinking of changing my money into chips and gamble it away just makes my heartache. Bro left earlier.

Dad played RM 100 on Roulete. Lost all of it and we went off. There's a Coffee Bean at the entrance of the hotel. Treated parents. Dad had hot chocolate. Mom had the brew of the day, Vienna. Mom said it was horrible. I had hot chocolate as well. Still want to sleep. Kinda crazy to have ice blended coffee. After guzzling down our drinks, we proceeded back to the hotel, bathe and slept.

Woke up at around 10am. Mom and Dad wants to go to the casino again? What, didn't lose enough? Dad called uncle to see where he is. Guess what? He's already there. Hohohoh!

Didn't want to go. Bro didn't want to go too. He stayed in the room to read his novel and I stayed to pack our things and watch some tv. They are showing this old movie with Leslie Cheung, Kenny Bee etc. in it. Basically a musical where everyone sings most of the time. It's an old Chinese New Year movie. There's also S.H.E concert on tv. More entertaining than that movie.

It's 12:15. Suppose to check out at 12:30 noon. Bro called dad's handphone. Mom answered and said she's on her way up. So, we waited for mom. When mom's arrived, we brought our luggages to the car and mom went to check out at the counter. When we went to counter to meet up with mom, she have went back to the casino to meet up with dad. So, to the casino again.

Reached the entrance. Don't feel like going in again. Told bro to find them and I"ll just wait outside. Boy did I regret. Waited for how long? I think waited for 2 hours plus. There were 2 missed calls, 1 from Dad and the other from bro. Couldn't hear it ring. The second call was cut off as my mobile battery is very low. Can't make calls or send sms as my credit has expired. No shops selling top up cards. Jeez.

So, can't go anywhere by myself, as no one would be able to contact me. No amusement rides *SOB*. Just sit at the side and wait.

And waited, and waited, and waited and.... GRRRRR!!!

2:30pm. Finally they came out. Asked Mom and Dad if they won any money. "No lah." Mom replied. So why they didn't they leave earlier? Want to lose everything? "Let me take a shot at your losing faces." *SNAP!*:

Parents said they are hungry. What, thought they gamble until no need to eat lunch. We went to the nearest place to eat. Had the lousiest and the most expensive wan tan noodles. RM 8.90 per plate. Daylight robbery. After finishing our lunch, we went back to the car and drove back. This time Dad's driving.

Yay! We are going back!

Mid way down, bro asked if we wanted to visit the temple. Why not? We are already here. To be continue.

Viva Genting Highlands - Part 2

I'm hungry. After dumping our luggages, we then went out to find food. Uncle and family did not join us as they are tired and wanted to take a nap.

On the way, we saw some amusement rides. I want!! o.O I forgot what's it called, but the ride basically brings you all the way to the top and drop you down. Damn, that is awesome. Asked mom if she would join me but she said she's too old for it -_-'. Bro is not into this kind of thing. But mom promised that she would take pics for me. Plenty of awesome rides. Definitely want to try. We went to the indoor amusement park area and ate Burger King. Fast food here is about a buck or two more expensive.

Saw this interesting arcade game. Where you are an elven boy who control stag beetles. Basically its a beetle fighting. The interesting thing is that you need to swipe skill cards to activate the skills. Kamen Rider Ryuki? Blade? Digimon Tamers? You feed the machine coins, and it would dispense a set of skill cards.

Lunch was too damn full. Have to wait a while before I can try the rides. Dammit. So, we walked around the shopping area. We stopped by BUMCity. Lots of funny funny weird things that they are selling here. Mom bought some tid bits, a packed of green peas and sun flower seeds.

Parents said that they want to visit a friend at the Ogawa shop here. Didn't know they have a friend here. On the way there, saw this shop that they are selling some Pierrot dolls. Went in to have a look. The Ogawa shop is just a few shops apart. Parents went there without me.

Besides the pierrots, there's nothing interesting. Went to look for parents. Saw them standing outside of the shop talking to the sales assistant. Look a bit too young to be their friend. But they are talking in Hokkien. "You all came here to look for her?", I asked. "No lah, we came to look for Nick.", Mom answered. Who the hell is Nick? Nick seems to be the manager here and they met him at the MLM meeting thingy. Aahh, no wonder. The sales assitant's name is Tracy. She works here. Duh. Apparently when they work here, they would stay at the hotel or some other accomodation area.

Hey, they have Ripley's Believe It Or Not here. RM 18 per entry for adults. RM 12 for kids. LOL! Watch the show on tv better. Parents said they wanted to go back to the hotel and have a nap. That means no one to accompany to play the rides already. So, went back with them. Slept on the wooden bed. Felt so uncomfortable, but it would have to do.

Woke up. Time for dinner. Did I mention that the hotel gave us a coupon for a free meal? 2 sets in fact. It is after all, a double bed room. We can either use the coupon for dinner, or tomorrow's lunch or breakfast. Buffet style. Went down to the lobby to meet up with uncle and family. The so-called cafe's there as well.

Uncle saw me carrying the digicam around and asked me to take a pic of everyone.

Everyone minus me, from left to right: Bro, Mom, Dad, Uncle, Niece, Cousin Sis, Cousin Bro-in-law, Aunt.

Have to que up before we can have to go into the cafe to have our dinner. It's quite a long que since food is free. Who would want to waste the coupons? Finally it's our turn. People grabbing food like they've never eaten before. You can see how civilised people have become *rolls eyes*. The food is lousy. They have Yee Sang though.

-__- L O U S Y F O O D...

Took a while for everyone to finish their food, since they've finish and they went to take some more. Buffet style what. Me? I like to think I have a bit more class. JK ;P! Took until it's enough and that's it. Still want to try the rides... Yikes! Spoke too soon! Sky's dark and misty already!! Apparently they don't operate that damn cun one at night or when it's misty. T___T

Next stop, the casino! To be continue.

Takuya Kimura's Advert

Anyone remember what product this advert is for? Perfume? Cologne? Braclet? Mr. T's jewlry?

I seem to remember reading an article in an HK mag about how famous asian actors and actresses got some sort of silly name because of an advert that they appear in.

Mok Chun Tok Choi is how Takuya Kimura's name is pronounce in cantonese. So, becuz of his "actions" in this advert, he got "Mok Chun Tok Bo". "Tok Bo", to translate from canto, basically means "supporting breast"(?).

My friend and I, we were analysing this advert pic to death. About how he can support the girl's weight by just her breast. I thought it was special effects wire/cable or camera trick (Yeah, I know. Sounded like alot of work for just a simple pic). Or even just his arms. She still thinks it might be something else.

How I found the pic? I was browsing through Friendster and chatting with a friend on MSN. We were talking about GTO anime and the live action drama series. The live actiom drama series is awesome, but we also talked about it being easily noticeably dated by the actors/actresses' hair style. I brought up Takuya Kimura's "fro". And I brought up his nickname and the advert. And all of a sudden, someone has this pic in their friendster profile.

Any input about the product or how the girls weight is supported? LOL! Any input is always welcome!

Viva Genting Highlands Part 1 - The Journey

The trip was... uhhhhhhh. Yeah, just "uhhhhhhh". Could have been better. But not too bad. It's just ruined by some stupid people. Anyway, ikezo!:

So morning woke up. Woke up late. Everyone at home also woke up late. Everyone slept very late. It's already 10:30 am. Suppose to go out at around 11:00am. But it's 10:30am. Packed my stuff: toiletries, 2 new shirts, 2 old pants, peejays, and CDs. What CDs I bought? Basically:

1. Gundam Seed Complete Best.
2. FullMetal Alchemist Complete Best.
3. Cowboy Bebop CD-Box OST set.
4. L'Ar~en~Ciel Smile.

That's it.

While in the toilet showering. Over heard a phone call. It's my uncle. He called to ask if we are about to go out already. It's 11am already. Dad told him not yet, as we are still packing. He said he can't wait any longer. He's going off. Okay lah, what to do when people can't wait to gamble. After waiting for everyone finish packing, we left the house. Brother's driving. I popped in Gundam Seed Complete Best CD into the player. Hhmm, nose slightly stuffy. I'm sure it's just a "morning just woke up" thing.

On the way out of Subang, bro and parents were discussing which way to go. Bro's indecisive. He says by using route blah blah would be faster but he still ask parents: "So, we take route blah blah ah?".

Took a pic of me and Mom in the car:

Somehow face came out fat. -__-"

It didn't took us long and we are already at the foot of Genting Highlands. The Genting Highlands sign at the side of the road greeted us:

Hahaha! Yes, I know. It's just a part of the sign. Our car passby way too fast. Need to practice on my reflexes. And here's the errr house. I think it's the police station?:

OI! You! Yes, you!! Driving beside us. What you looking at??! Wanna race ah?!! Actually the car is going down and we are going up. LOL!

The CDs going on loop. Popped it out and popped in FullMetal Alchemist Complete Best. There were alot of people driving up as well. Who's the one who said there won't be much people going to Genting during the first day of the Chinese New Year? More pics:

It was a cloudy and yet shiny day. I love taking pics of clouds. Damn cables.

Nah, here's a shot of some trees. Heheh, actually, I was trying to take the whole Genting building right beside the tree. I had a clear shot, and as I was taking aim, the tree suddenly came out covering it. Genting sure looks evil huh? It's like those evil guy's castle at the moutain top with gloom doom clouds over it. XD

We have reached Avana resort! Bro asked where are we suppose to go to. Dad called uncle and asked him. Uncle was quite blur. First he said Genting Resort, then First World Resort, and finally the "most top one". Okay, so we thought it should be the First World Resort.

So, we went up there, drove around and around to find parking. There were lots of Singaporeans who droved Mazdas. How I know they are Singaporeans? The license plate lah. Saw a few Mazda 6s and Mazda 323s. Why so many? It doesn't mean Mazdas are cheaper in Singapore. It means people over there knows what's a good car. Unlike some Malaysians I know "Mazda? Is it a Korean car? How come never heard of one??" -__-". Sua baa kau....

So, finally found a parking spot and we climbed the stairs to the lobby. Couldn't find a lift to go to the lobby. Mom's panting, complaning about the 3 levels that we have to climb. When we are at the lobby, I was impressed! The place looks classy!! There's so many people waiting to check in. And they even have to take a number and que up to check in. What the...

But hmmm something's wrong. Uncle and family is no where to be found. Dad called him and he said he's at the counter waiting to check in. Oookay.. the counter where? It's a loooong stretch of counters here. My dad: "Har? Where ah? which counter? Resort Hotel counter??!". Dad asked the security guard where is the place. Well, isn't it obvious? We are at First World Resort, and he just blurted out Resort Hotel. Ish! My dad also grumbling and mumbling there.

So, we took our luggages back to our car and drove to Resort Hotel. We didn't know where exactly is the place. When come to a junction, parents asked bro to ask the Traffic Police standing there. Without winding down the window, he said: "Resort Hotel?". We laughed like mad, how is the police going to hear him? And the police officer is like 7 feet away from the car!!! XD

Anyway, manage to find Resort Hotel.

Also alot of people. Have to drive a few rounds to find parking. The lobby is jam packed. This time we found them here. Apparently they have been waiting for an hour to check in. And apparently someone made a mistake. They gave us two rooms with a double bed. Now hold on a sec. Our side, we have four people. And them, let's counts: Uncle, aunt, cousin sis, cousin sis' hubby and their baby daguther. o.O That's like 4 and a half.

Well, it was my cousin sis' mistake. She thought double bed means two beds in one room -_-". So, we went to our rooms with our luggages. Hhhmmm, the double bed, there's a mattress on the wooden bed. We dragged the mattress down and viola! Now 2 double beds. But the wooden part is really hard though. Won't be comfortable sleeping on it. Especially old people like my mom and dad. Guess I"ll be sleeping on it T__T.

To be continue.
