Wedding Part 2 - Tea Drinking Session

We did not really attended the full wedding. We only went to the groom (my kai kor lah)'s place and waited for the groom to come back with the bride. That was the plan anyway.

As everyone slept late last night, we woke up late. We're suppose to be at the groom's house at 1:00 p.m. but we were late. We've reached at 1:30p.m. Fashionably late. Grandparents didn't follow. Everyone learnt their lesson. D'OH!

We saw bits and pieces of red paper already on the road.. The bride's here already and they have burnt the firecrackers. So, we sit around under the "tent" shelter thingy tht's set up outside and took half of the road. Had some drinks, nuts and talked to the aunty and uncle again. Waiting for my parent's turn to let the bride and groom to pour tea for my parents to drink. Some Chinese wedding custom.

After the tea drinking session, we had lunch there. There weren't enough dishes and rice to go around, so we only had a light lunch. Hhmmm, didn't see the "friend" around. Maybe mingle with the relatives somewhere in the house.

After lunch, we went back. Bro and I went to Mid Valley Megamall after reached home a while. Went back home and took a short nap.

Yippee! You can sense my enthusiastic of typing this post....

To be continue: Wedding Part 3 - The Wedding Dinner. Did I get lucky with the "friend"? Spoilers: No. Stay tune.
