What Have I Been Up To

Stopped blogging for a few months. Couple of months back, bought a new computer and basically been pretty "busy" with it. Trying to install to the right settings, software and transferring data stuff. Play games that I always wanted to play, but the old one couldn't support.

So what's next? Both Casshern Sins and Gundam 00 has ended. I haven't been really following it, but I"ll watch and see if I want to continue reviewing them. But I"ll definitely do Sengoku Basara and Shin Mazinger Impact!

Dragon Ball Kai's been good. The remastered series where they cut out the fillers, and follow more closely to the manga. But I think everyone and their grand mother has seen DBZ.

Think that's it for the time being.

New Shoes!

Sports shoes ones.

The last one I got for the Team Building thingy was terrible. I can't even feel if they have any soles to them.

Saw some discounted shoes from Al-Ikhsan advert in the newspaper last night. Noticed they hava a branch at the local shopping mall. So thought I just go there and check em out after my hair cut.

Well, the one I was interested seem kinda like the shoe that would crack after awhile with its material.

The nicer looking (and cheaper somemore) from Umbro is only for indoor. Courts only. So, not such a good idea if I am going to wear it around or occasionally for some jogging or some shit.

So this one from Nike, called Downshifter for running seems kinda ideal.


This is like my third pair of Nike shoes in a very long loooong time.

Man Face has a blog. Yeah. Right.

I seem to remember when I first have a blog and introduced it to Man Face, Man Face said... Why would you want to do that?

Had chocolate so much, I think I am going to poop chocolate.

My nose is better already! Right after dinner I just sleep and sleep and sleep till morning.

Sure I woke up like a bit later in the night, in the middle of the night, wee hours of the morning, and then around 3 someething I think. And then it was "...wake up". And, I just got up and felt much better.

It still gets stuffy a bit whenever there's a dramatic room temperature change. Especially from very hot to cold.

Went out to be an emotional crutch for FFK last night for dinner. Luckily we were a step earlier, otherwise, whole place would be full.

Drip

Lets see this is.... how long already? My third week of having stuffy and runny nose.

1st week was bearable. Had some panadols to keep it at bay.

Then 2nd week's Monday, I went to see Doc. Doc gave me some meds and it was ok till my meds were finish.

Doc said most probably it's some allergic reaction. Allergic to what? Dunno. Maybe dust, cat's fur... she said it could be the weather. Allergic to weather??! Wtf... might as well be allergic to air.

Now it's the third week, and its still the same. Constant phone ringing and aunties gossiping at customer's site didn't make things any better.

Have to resort to rolling up tissue paper and stuff them into my nose.


Kinda disgusting. Urgh.

TT's Saloon

Went to the usual place I get my CDR's and bump into TT.

Remember TT? My ex stylist who's from the same home town as my Dad? Yeah, her.

Anyway, her shop is actually quite big. Bigger than where she used to work. It's a few shops near that comp stuff place where I get my CDR's. It wasn't confirmed as whenever I walked past there, it's either too early or too late and the shop seems, kinda, closed.

So, I dropped in to say hi as she was having her snack and watching Legend of the Demigods on her notebook.

She thought I came for a hair cut. I said, I was in the area to buy some stuff, and since you are here, just thought I dropped by to say hi.

She asked about my parents, and asked if we are going back to my dad's home town. She's going back tonight. Definitely for Mid Autumn Festival.

Anyway, just chat with her a lil bit and I went off. I think she put on some weight or it could be her hair that made her face kinda a lil puffy.

So, like every year I would take leave for this occasion right? No. Can't do that.

One of my colleagues' having a training for the whole week and the junior is not confident in handling things alone. So what to do? It's back to work.

Mom promised last nite she would cook one of my fav noodles and buy me a cake for this year.

After work tried to go get one of those Mach 5 that comes with the Speed Racer fig at the local mall, but apparently since the movie is already off the screens, they took it off for storage or perhaps donate to the neighbouring country for landfill.

Tried the shopping department and it seems it's sold out. Oh well. There are other malls to try to find. But not today.

Mom lied. Mom didn't cook the noodles. She only cook one of my fav dish and that was it. But she did bought a cake though. Some kind of german black forrest.

After dinner and a piece or two of the cake, it's Chuck time. Then, House MD. Of course, watch half way till my Dad wants to watch the news. As usual.

So right now, I'm here. Dunno what to do. I guess it's back to surfing again. Business as usual.

If I remember correctly, according to one of those feng shui weird shit programmes I saw the last time, at such age number, i shouldn't be celebrating outside for fear my spirit won't be able to find it's way back. Should celebrate indoors with love ones. Errr... yeah. Either this age or the previous.

When's the next repeat of House MD again? 1am? Oookay.

3 Lil Birdies

Aren't they cute? My dad found them in the neighbour's trash bin. Yeap. you heard that right. The Trash bin.

In the morning, Mom heard some chirping sounds and asked my Dad what's with the birds this morning. My Dad thought it was a bunch of squirels in heat or something.

A bit later, they didn't hear it anymore.

After lunch, Dad went out of the house to check on some things. Dunno what. Talking to his plants maybe. Anyway, he heard some faint chirping noises.

He managed to track it down to the neighbour's trash bin. He opened it up, the chirping sounds were even louder.

The lil guys (or gals, I dunno, I did not check) were inside. Wrapped in a plastic bag. What kind of cruel monster would do such a thing??!

Dad picked them up, clean them up and fed them. After a bit of digging in the storeroom, viola! An old bird cage, some paper towels make shift nest and they are as comfy as they can be. Like in the pics.

Mom then told me what happened. Mom thinks most probably the neighbours found the nest in their palm tree that's in their compound and threw them in the trash.

Let me get this straight. Our neighbours, religious God fearing people, who sings religious Hallelujah songs evering morning; goes to the church every Sunday... does this kind of thing.

What are we going to find next? Their kids?

Goes to show being religious, not necessarily a good person make.
