TT Quits

Her plan is to earn more now so she can open up her own shop. Working at another place, She's chargin RM 20 per head now. jeez!

Louise is back from UK. He's actually back since last August, but he was working at another branch. Since TT left, he came to this branch to fill in the gap.

I almost forgot how long it take for Louise to cut per head.

PS2's In The Workshop

Worst Case Scenario: It might cost me half price of a new unit to fix. If the problem's cause by the laser lens. RM 380.

Not Too Bad Scenario: Mod chip problem. Cost only RM 100+ to fix.

Haha I Win Scenario: Timing's off. Only need to adjust. Dunno how much is that as it is one of the posibility of the problem that Kenji thought of. I doubt it will cost RM 100 if this is the case.

A new unit would cost RM 600. If it's a worst case scenario, do I really need to get a new unit? Fixing the worst case scenario though would cost half of a new unit, but I'm saving half here. Besides, the so called Next Generation of consoles are out... even though they cost a bomb right now, 2 - 3 years down the road would definitely be cheaper. And if paying for the Worst Case, could still at the very least lasts me 2 - 3 years; I think I'm set.

Ok, nothing to read here, move along. Just want to vent.

Income Tax 2007

It's that time again. Have you submitted your's? Tomorrow's the last day. No extensions this time. Which is fair. How many years freaking extention Malaysians need anyway? One shouldn't be too pampered.

Thanks to the magazines and art book receipts, I get to maximised the magazines and book claims. And this year, I only need to pay less than RM5 to them blood suckers.

Kept the receipts more properly. Last year most of it turned white pieces of papers. Parents kept asking me what magazines I bought. Jeez, as long as its not porn, why bother? They're just Maxim HK, FHM Taiwan, First Magazine... cheescake maybe, but definitely not porn. Even if it's porn, do you want to submit that to the government? I'm not stupid.

Anyway, yeah, tomorrow's the last day. Still open till 10pm. If you haven't submit, what you waiting for? The Party Van?

3 Day Training

Had to go for some process training at one of our Evil Empire's office at somewhere near KL Towers.

It's not that I have problem following the process... I was sent for it as we need to be "properly" certified for the process.

I wasn't exactly sure where was the building, but I do know that it's nearby KL Towers. Sunday I had googled up the nearest LRT station to KL Towers and it came up with Dang Wangi. Sounds like it shouldn't be hard to find.

So, woke up early, cramp myself into the LRT and finally reached Dang Wangi. Uh oh, which way should I take? I asked the LRT staff and they said to go to the so and so building should get off at the Masjid Jamek station. OH SHI-

Wait hold it, no problem... I"ll just hopped on the next LRT train and get back to the previous stop.

Reached there.. urm... I can't see KL Towers. Decided to call up one of the offsite colleagues to see if she knows how to get to the so and so building from the Masjid Jamek station. Her phone rang a few times and not even once it was picked up. Later I learned that she had turn it to silent mode and has left it in her backpack. $%^|+!!!!

The training starts at 9am. It's 8:40am now. Ok, don't panic. Can always ask people for directions. Just when a guy decided to ask for directions, these are the answer I got:

*blanks stares*
"Dunno la"
"Got such place ah?
"Sana!" *points at God knows where and runs off*.

8:45am. Maybe I am going to be late after all. Wait, wait, it's supposely still near KL towers right? Can't really see KL Towers as there are some tall buildings here blocking the view. And, I know the so and so building is at some King's street... all I have to do is walk around to get a good view of KL Towers, walk to the direction and find the street and it should lead me to the place. Unless, of course I am Bad Luck Opposite Direction Bipolar Guy.

Anyway, manage to find the place in less than 15 minutes. Went up, sat down and waited. 9:15am and the trainer's still not here. Learned that the Australian trainer's flight was delayed and he will be in later at around noon and the training will start at 1pm.... Orz

Team Dinner 2007

Dai Kar Cher (DKC) treated the whole team to a team dinner on Friday night. IT's a first time for some of us to meet the other members as some of us are and has stationed at customer's site.

The dinner's at PJ Hilton, buffet. It was pretty ok. Mostly Thai styled. DKC claimed it's quite expensive and we should make the most out of it. Of course, I am glad to oblige.

The atmosphere is pretty good. Furnitures kinda "scary" looking. Dinning table are big and... square. So's the sofa/chairs. The night was a pretty good night. Plenty of eye candy. Food's definitely better than the last team dinner.

Miracle Or 怪談?

Actually this is pretty old news if you have been following the newspapers.

There's a temple at Tanjung Tualang and they have a taiko drum there. Unlike any normal drum, hairs are growing out of its hide surface since last year.

It made quite a big hoo haa at the village last year. Many people went and pluck its hair and use it to make amulet in hopes of granting them luck, etc.

Manage to snap some pics:

CRAWWWLLLLINNGGGG IN MYYYY SKIINNN

See those black black lines? They are not patterns or lines.

Another close up:

It's not patterns

How do I know they are hair? Gee I dunno, they are sticking out and they look like hair. No way I'm going to touch it. One of my rules to follow "Do not touch unknown or weird subtance/things".

So if you happen to passby Tanjung Tualang, you might want to dropby and have a visit. Who knows, the drum might moo for you.
