Spider-Man 3: Revisited

We went to watch it again last night. 3rd time for bro. 2nd time for me. 1st time for his friend.

Upon second viewing, it's better. The Oh-My-God-Please-Kill-Me scenes are more bearable.

First viewing; during the Venom fights, couldn't see what exactly what Venom was doing. He could be masturbating for all I know. But this time I know what to look out for and it's clearer.

According to my bro's friend, it's the best of the trilogy. LOL WUT. Anyway, second viewng, it's better. But still the weakest of the trilogy.

Mother's Day

So how you celebrate? We had our dinner on Friday actually. Bro's treat. Worried that it might be too jam pack today.

We had dinner at Hong Lim Restaurant at SS15. Had crabs. Apparently according to my bro and parents, it's as good as the ones from Tanjung Tualang and cheaper too. I wouldn't know cuz I didn't had any crabs.

It's Back!

Received a call from the shop to inform me that the PS2 is fixed. Went to collect it yesterday. Cost me RM180. Only a part of the laser is broken so there's no need to replace the whole thing.

Haven't have a chance to play it yet though.

Celery

Or better known to me as the "Cao Cai" or the "stinking vege".

I hated it ever since I was lil. Couldn't smell the taste or the smell. It's just too strong.

However, decided to give it a try again last night. Brother was all "NOOOOO!You realise what you are putting in your mouth?!". Yeah, celery.

Mom was all "Nah, here have some more... it's good for you". It didn't taste as bad as before. I thought it was some kind of Celery Lite version. But Mom thinks I'm crazy. She says its all the same.

Maybe its one of those things when u get older, you don't mind them that much anymore......

Spider-Man 3

Saw Spider-Man 3 last night. Quite disappointed. Probably 2 has set the standards too high. WTF is with all the singing and dancing?

Spidey gets unmasked way even much more than the second movie. Which sucks. We have to "thank" Tobey Mcguire for that as he worries the movie goers would think of him as Spider-Man instead of an actor.

His acting... His Spidey is getting better for the begining part of the movie. His wisecracks doesn't sound too forced. The audience actually laugh at him for trying to act crying at one scene.

Kirsten Dunst is still... well, still Kirsten Dunst. James Franco gets to show more range of his acting instead of just brooding in this one. Not enough J.K Simmons as J Jonah Jameson. Which is a pity.

Don't have enough parts to complain about Topher Grace and Thomas Haden Church.

CG effects has improved but some parts still look crappy. I think they reuse some footage of Spidey swinging in the city. They could have at least put in some voice effect for Venom instead of just leaving Topher Grace to do all the work. He still sounds like Topher Grace.

Crammed too much into one movie. Too many plots, too many villians... too rushed. Personally I still enjoyed it. Right down there with X3. Ok maybe that's too harshed, but definitely better than X3.
