Funniest Thing I've Heard Today - A How To Protect Your Comp Post

Bro was taking out his stuff to put into storage. He says week by week, he wants to clear his stuff and then have a space to put the new comp he buy in his room.

Mom told him to leave it on so she can use it too. Bro says: "No problem, leave it on the whole day also no problem one."

AAAHHAHAHAHA! Aiyo, when he's using my comp and the notebook; he already gave me so much problems. Viruses, spyware, adwares... the list goes on.

Basically, this is how you protect your comp. Besides installing the latest Windows security patches, personal firewall and the latest virus definitions, install the below:

- Spyware Guard
- Spyware Blaster

The above two should prevent spyware/adware from automatically installing into your comp. Now install these (and of course update the latest definitions/patterns) to catch the adware and spyware.

- Adaware
- Spybot Search and Destroy

Your comp is now good to go for 24/7 online. Ever since I've installed these suckers, my comp is problem free.

One who wish to have a comp or whatever to call their own, should know how to protect it. Your computer does not serve you. It is not a one sided relationship. Like all relationships, blahblahblahblahblahblah blah.... you know the drill.

I think when he has bought his own comp, within a week, he would be jumping up and down asking me for help. He can't just keep quiet already since it's his own. XD

eh, you know ar

after i install ad aware and all those thingamajigs last time right, like got more problem like that.

my easiest solution? either don't simply install stuff from IE or no active x BS.. actually just make the security higher...

or

switch to mozilla.

shiggy g: Thanx for dropping by! :D

kh: Ah, if you have been in a shit house long enough, you will know what to do. Flushing is not an option cuz flushing won't flush the shit out but more shit would come in! Hohoh!

mort: Hey, mort! Been pretty busy huh? So desu... ka? So far for me it's problem free. One of the possibility is that I am till using Win98 while the whole world is using WinXP. And everyone out there is trying to exploit all the security holes that WinXP has.

Yeah the active x and whatBHO is a pain in the @$$. Spyware Guard would warn you if there's any changes to IE.

Yeah, ditching IE is another option. I used to use Netscape, until Microsoft decided to coughmadeitnotsostablewiththeirstuffcough. Aiiii...
