Fantastic 4: Rise Of The Silver Surfer

Saw this last Saturday night. Like it alot. Much better than the first one. Better than Spidey 3 even. Faster paced, and the comedic moments are at the right time.

More screen time for Torch. The makers probably realised he basically stole the show in the first movie and bank in on it.

The Surfer effects were good. This movie version's weaker. Ah what the heck, think it's neccessary... otherwise they have to stop him with "the power of love", in which would be even more corny.

One minor gripe: Galactus. Hope they make him the comic version in SS' own solo movie.

It's that time of the year again. Fast huh?



First one to remember is bro. Mom needed to be reminded by bro. I think Dad's still ignorant about it. I guess probably because he doesn't need to get me anymore toys... be it some teenage mutated ninja, some superhero, some kind of giant robot/mech or some muscled bound blond.

Woke up kinda early for a weekend. It's not like I'm looking forward to the day or anything. I just woke up automatically. Looked at the phone. Received an sms from my buddy back in high school, sending his well wishes. Frankly speaking, thought he was the only one till afternoon came in with somemore a few. Rakiel still remembers. Thought last year was a fluke. Oh hey, you know what? Just saw one in my friendster comment. Thanks ya all.

So it's like 11pm already and how did I spend the day? No cake? No fancy lunch? Well, for lunch and dinner, it's mom's Lam Mee. Some kind of yellow noodle thingy with mince meat, vege and shrimps. Dunno what's the English name, but I usually refers to it in English as "That yellow festive noodle". Oh, and this time with celery since I'm all grown up now and able to take the taste dur hurr.

Spent the afternoon playing some Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Mom was like oh hey what's going on, why do you have to do this and that. Relax, Mom! When Captain America throws his mighty shield... all who opposed his shield must yield!

Surfed the net and chatted a bit. Oh yah, I did watched an episode of Sexy Voice and Robo. Quite a funny and touching/sad episode. Will blog about the show some other time.

Marvel Legends: Titanium Series Silver Surfer diecast fig from my bro. We already exchanged gifts on Thursday night... even though his will be in 10 days time.

Still haven't got myself something. I still can't make up my mind whether it will be that still not available in stores yet Transformers Movie Optimus Prime or that damn expensive Medicom 12" Kamen Rider Hibiki that will be soon to arrive to suck my money off my wallet. Decisions decisions. Yeah, since it's my own my money, I can have both... but you know what? I WANNA BEEEEEEEEETCH!
