Today's Gift Exchange And Lunch
Hhmm... the more I think about the gift exchange the more I'm disappointed... Ahahah, no lah, I'm just kidding!
The initial plan was to get just 1 gift and we just exchange. Then yesterday last minute Kar Cher (our team lead) decided that it would be more fun to have each person get 3 gifts. Oh and that's not the only last minute thingy that went on. Kar Cher received an email stating that she will be audited by internal auditor today!!! So, she was quite busy, today and yesterday. Busy updating procedure files and all those blahblahblah.
Tai Kar Cher (our manager, I think I need to write one "who's who" post and link it on the side bar) ordered pizza from Pizza Hut to treat us and the auditor (read: bribe) for lunch. The pizzas and the chicken wings side order is suppose to arrive within 50 minutes. But it didn't turn up. Tai Kar Cher says since it's late, it should be free. Though the delivery guy might get into trouble, possibly get fired. Oh no, Spider-Man is going to lose his job again!!
Tai Kar Cher herself called to Pizza Hut and demanded from the outlet manager to have it free. Since the delivery guy showed up after... get this, 2 hours! The delivery guy said he couldn't find the place. Not only that, while pulling out the bag of chicken wings out, instead of holding the top/opening of the bag, he was pulling from the bottom of the bag. So, when it came out, the chicken wings fell on the floor. All of em. Kesian (pity). They couldn't fly.
Anyway, lunch was free.
After lunch, we exchanged our gifts. Check out what I got:

The flower thingy is from Mac. The glass of mayonaise? Hahaha, it's a scented candle. MmMmM~ kinky, oh I mean romantic :P. It's from Kar Cher. Eh, wait! Where's Tai Kar Cher's gift? Well, since we did not inform her about our last minute changes, she only got one. We drew lots and Kar Cher Got it. Aiya, nevermind lah.
Oh! Mac at first did not get any gifts for us. He said when he reached home, he was too tired and slept till morning. So, during lunch time he went out to buy. Hhhmm.. the flower thingy has a tag on it that says "Thinking of you". Is he trying to tell me something??
Hahaha, actually he got us all the same flower except that they are in different colours. Both mine and Tai Kar Cher's has the words "Thinking of you" but Kar Cher's "Have a beautiful day". Kar Cher bought us, both Mac and I candles and something else (I forgot) for Tai Kar Cheh.
Everyone, especially the females were going "ooh so cute!" with my magnets. Heheh, the auditor (yeah she stayed but no gifts for her cuz we didn't know she stayed back after lunch) said I really know how to choose gifts, something that usually guys can't. AAAAHahahah! Pai seh! Last nite I was panicking and even called all the way to Penang to seek for advice. Hahaha!! Luckily found these magnets. But... the compliment, I dunno good or bad. Make me sound girlish. LOL!
If I've not found those magnets, them Xmas snow globes were another option. But they were too cheap-ass looking. Aaa gotta go tomorrow for some really-final-last-minute-sudden-death gifts shopping @_@.
